Experience description:

I was asleep in my bedroom in the 3 bedroom apartment that I rented with two women.

I was startled awake, and felt the presence of my grandmother in the room.  I felt that she was looking at me , admiring me, and loving me.  I was frightened.  After a few seconds, she left.  I looked at the digital clock and it said, 2: 10 AM .

At 6AM , the phone rang and it was my father.  I said, "Grandma is dead."

My father said, "How did you know?"

I said, "She was here last night."

My father explained that she had difficulty breathing last night and that they drove her to the emergency room.  The doctor wanted to keep her for "observation" and admitted her at around 11PM .  At 2:20 AM , she was discovered to have died after a routine bed check.  They called my father at around 2:30 AM .

My father felt very guilty because the doctor gave no indication that he felt death was imminent.  Apparently, they did not know this and my father and uncle went home.  They planned to visit her in the morning.
