Experience description:

My father died on 9th Dec 2009 and I was abroad. As my wife was along with me and she was expecting so she needed extra approvals to get on board. Therefore, we were late to reach hometown by 3 days. The funeral was on 12th Dec 2009 at 2 or 3 pm.  I had following dream probably at 10 or 10.15 am (I woke up at 10.30 am) next morning of 13th Dec 2009. There are 3 big houses in our street and there is a mosque at the end of the street. My hosue is in the middle. I saw following dream:

"I saw myself coming out of my home and felt flying to the end of the street. I noticed my father was standing in front of mosque and eagerly walking to and fro as if he was waiting for someone. He was sick at the time of death (he was 62 at the time of death), but in dream, he was fine as in healthy and walking perfectly like a young man. As soon as I saw him, I felt like flying and hugging him, but then I noticed that I am holding Quran in my right hand. I looked around for a neat and clean place to put Quran before I could come back and hug him. I again flew to the end of the street to place Quran and then flew back. As soon as I approached my father, I saw strong man coming from the side. He was of extremely good height (my father was 5'3 and I think he must have been 7' plus). He looked like human. He hold my father's hand and told me in my native language 'hurry up, we are getting late'. I look at him and requested 'Please give me few seconds', with tears in my eyes. He stepped back. I then hugged my father and said 'forgive me, if I have ever done something wrong and you were not happy with it'. He replied ' I have forgiven you my son'. While I was hugging him, I felt a physical connection into my body as now I could notice heart beat goes 5,4,3,2,1 (as someone was counting) and then I opened my eyes. I am not sure if it was my heart beat coming back or my father's ending"

How much of the deceased did you see?       1, but I also saw another strong big man next to my father who was holding his hand

Describe in detail your feelings/emotions during the experience:           I was working abroad and could not meet my father before his death. I knew he was sick so I was preparing to leave for my home town. However, by the time, I reached my hometown, my father passed away. So I was just thinking if I would have met him. I saw that dream with feeling of meeting him once again.

My body was light and I felt like flying. I was definitely not walking as I know how long it takes to cover those distances by walk. Everything was happening in seconds. So I must have been faster, and surely was not walking.

Did you have a sense of knowing, special knowledge, universal order and/or purpose?    Yes

Did you become aware of future events?       No

Not in this dream. Another dream I saw on night of 25th Dec 2004 (probably the exact time when Tsunami originated), it was night in Pakistan. I saw huge destruction coming up and everything was devastated (as in water has destroyed peoples home and so many people have died), this made me cry in my dream and by the time I woke up I could feel my wet eyes, and sweating particularly on my forehead.

Did you experience a separation of your consciousness from your body?     Yes

Did you meet or see any other beings other than the deceased?        Yes

A strong big man (my father was 5'3, but he surely was 7' plus). Besides that he looked like a human being, he was holding hand of my father and told me in my native language 'hurry up, we are getting late'. I looked at him and requested with tears in my eyes, give me few seconds please?

This is the first time I am sharing my dream. I saw dreams regularly and often meet my deceased father. I saw a dream 3 weeks ago when he and I met after Jumma prayer (there is a big prayer at noon time every Friday called jumma prayer). He was getting into a black car (looked like jaguar) with unknown people in white robes/dress. He asked me to join in, but I said no I will come in the next car. I then saw in white color car along with his (alive) friends and dream ended.

Is there anything else you would like to add regarding your experience?       No

Were there any associated medications or substances with the potential to affect the experience?            No

Did you ever in your life have a near-death experience, out of body experience or other spiritual event?           Yes

I, have many times been to spiritual places. I felt myself walking around Kaba (the house of God) in Mecca. I have visited Kaba at different times. For example, I have visited Kaba as in its current shape and appearance today. But, then I visited Kaba centuries ago when it was all dust and desert. I could see couple of big date trees around the outer boundary wall of Kaba , a lot of dust/desert and also saw few people walking around Kaba in circles. I guess there were very few people, may be less than 50 around Kaba at that point in time.
