In my dream I remember being surrounded by darkness yet facing me was a bright light that didn't hurt my eyes. Suddenly Pepper appeared accompanied by a male figure that I couldn't see. He was so happy to see me! he jumped up and licked my face. I felt so much love. The next day at work I received an email from my ex-boyfriend saying that Pepper had died the previous afternoon. I felt that Pepper had said goodbye to me and thanked me for loving him the last few months of his life.

It's hard to describe the joy I felt when I saw Pepper.

Pepper jumped on me and licked my face. I Hughes him.

            Was the touch familiar or unfamiliar?   The touch seemed to be embed with great love and a sense of peace.

            Was anything communicated by the touch?  Not sure but I went away from the dream feeling like Pepper was thanking me for being kind to him. I had broken up with his owner a few months beforehand and had felt guilty for leaving Pepper, who I knew was sick and would miss me.

            Is there any possibility what you felt was from any other source present in the surroundings at the time of your experience?  Yes, I felt a presence, a male presence but I could not see him. he appeared to be accompanying Pepper on his journey.

Did you see the deceased?         Yes

HePepper was back to looking like adog in his prime - happy, healthy, jumpy

            How clearly did the deceased appear?            Solid

            How much of the deceased did you see?       All

            Did the deceased appear or not appear to be the age at which they died?       He didn't look sick. He looked like a dog in his prime.

            How healthy did the deceased appear to be?            He appeared healthy.

            Is there any possibility what you saw was from any other source present in the surroundings at the time of your experience?           It was a dream so no.

Did you smell a distinct smell, scent, fragrance or odor associated with the deceased?      No

Could you sense the emotions or mood of the deceased?           Yes

Joy. Gratitude. Love. He was happy to see me.

How do you currently view the reality of your experience?           Experience was probably real

            Please explain why you view the reality of your experience as real or not real:           I'm not sure if it was coincidental that I had dreamed of this not knowing that Pepper had died.

I had felt guilty for leaving Pepper when my boyfriend and I had broken up. but what could I do? I felt that Pepper was just so happy to see me; he loved me unconditionally.

What was the best and worst part of your experience?      There wasn't a worst part.
