These are two visual encounters. 

7/22/08-Woke up around dawn, it was semi-dark in the room. Saw Jerry in bed next to mine.  Was lying on his stomach as if he was sleeping. 

I reached out my hand to put my hand on Jerry's head.  When my hand got to where Jerry's head was, I felt nothing.  Then I waved my hand back and forth where his head was and still felt nothing. 

Then Jerry suddenly disappeared with my hand still stretched out toward him.  It seemed very strange to by lying there with my hand stretched out toward nothing. 

9/10/08-Woke up, it was just starting to get light outside. I looked at a small crack in the curtain and saw Jerry's head being illuminated by the small amount of light coming through the crack in curtain.  A couple seconds later, the image disappeared.

Was this experience difficult to express in words?  Yes

Did you hear the deceased or hear something associated with the deceased?          No

Did you feel a touch or experience any physical contact from the deceased?            No

Did you see the deceased?         Yes

The first experience, Jerry was lying face down, so it was hard to tell too much about what he looked like. 

The second experience (head only), Jerry did not look good, unshaven, sort of at his worst.

            How clearly did the deceased appear?            First experience solid. 

Second experience-somewhat transparent.

            How much of the deceased did you see?       First time-head and most of body

Second time-just head.

            Did the deceased appear or not appear to be the age at which they died?       First time-couldn't tell

Second time-age he died

            How healthy did the deceased appear to be?            First time-hard to tell

Second time-At his worst, did not have any infirmities.

            Is there any possibility what you saw was from any other source present in the surroundings at the time of your experience?           No.

Did you smell a distinct smell, scent, fragrance or odor associated with the deceased?      No

How long did the experience last?        First time:  About fifteen seconds

Second time: Just a few seconds

Was the beginning and end of the experience gradual or more sudden?         Both experiences-sudden

Could you sense the emotions or mood of the deceased?           No

Did the deceased give you information you did not previously know?  No.

How do you currently view the reality of your experience?           Experience was definitely real

            Was the experience dream like in any way?   No
