I was eating breakfast at the village inn restaurant with my family, husband, mom and kids.  I heard a harmonica playing.  Nobody else heard the harmonica.  I looked all over the restaurant and no harmonica.  It lasted about 5 minutes. 

My dad played the harmonica.  He played it right before he died, two weeks prior to the experience.  I have been contacted through synchronicity too, but nothing like this happened before or since.

Was this experience difficult to express in words?  No

Did you ONLY sense an awareness of presence of the deceased without actually seeing, hearing, feeling or smelling them?        Uncertain

            Describe what you heard, how clearly you heard it and what was communicated:    I heard the harmonica playing, JUST like a kid would play when they are learning blowing in and out of the harmonica.  My dad told me that's how he learned to play it when he was a little boy.

            Did the voice or sound seem to originate externally or outside of you, inside you, or did you not hear a voice or sound, but had a sense of knowing what was communicated?      The sound was external.

            If you heard a voice or sound, was it similar or dissimilar from the voice or sound the deceased made when they were alive?           It was the sound of someone blowing on an harmonica.

            Is there any possibility what you heard was from any other source present in the surroundings at the time of your experience?           No other source.  Nobody else heard it.  It was not playing on the radio.  There was no harmonica in the room.

            Was there any possible impairment to your hearing at the time of the experience?   No my hearing is perfect.

Did you feel a touch or experience any physical contact from the deceased? No

Did you see the deceased?         No

Did you smell a distinct smell, scent, fragrance or odor associated with the deceased?      No

How long did the experience last?        five minutes

Was the beginning and end of the experience gradual or more sudden?         suddenly started and suddenly stopped

Could you sense the emotions or mood of the deceased?           Yes

He was happy.

Did the deceased give you information you did not previously know?  He's happy and with his mom again.

How do you currently view the reality of your experience?           Experience was probably real

            Please explain why you view the reality of your experience as real or not real:           I think it was real, but I am not sure.  Nobody else heard it and they think I am crazy.

            Was the experience dream like in any way?   No

Describe in detail your feelings/emotions during the experience:           Confusion, and not sure what was happening.  I was looking for the harmonica in the room, and could not understand why it sounded next to my head and nobody was there.

I think my dad is probably alive in the other world.  I started playing my piano and violin again.
