I was in the ladies room at my office building.  I suddenly heard a voice tell me in no uncertain terms "Crystal is dead". My mind or spirit disassociated from my body.  I walked unsteadily back to my office, disoriented. Once there I expected someone to tell me that I had an emergency call.  It was not till 3 days later that I was told by police that my daughter had died.  She was taken to the hospital ER almost at the same time I had this experience.  I can only explain this experience as my spirit leaving my body to be with her, but I don't have the conscious knowledge of it.

Any associated medications or substances with the potential to affect the experience? No     

Was the kind of experience difficult to express in words?          No     

At the time of this experience, was there an associated life threatening event?          Yes    The life threatening event was happening to my daughter and I was unaware of it until 3 days later.

What was your level of consciousness and alertness during the experience?            I was alert and oriented until the time I heard this "voice".

            Was the experience dream like in any way?  no

Did you experience a separation of your consciousness from your body?          Yes    I did not see myself - I just felt that I was not there in spirit.

What emotions did you feel during the experience?          terror

Did you hear any unusual sounds or noises?          The voice telling me "Crystal is dead".

Did you observe or hear anything regarding people or events during your experience that could be verified later?         Yes    My daughter Crystal had indeed passed away.

Did you notice how your 5 senses were working, and if so, how were they different?     Yes    I felt numb, disoriented, empty

Did you become aware of future events?      Yes    My daughter was dying - the next time I saw her she was in a casket.

Were you involved in or aware of a decision regarding your return to the body?          No      Did you have any psychic, paranormal or other special gifts following the experience that you did not have prior to the experience?          No         

How has the experience affected your relationships? Daily life? Religious practices? Career choices?       Right now I am trying to come to terms with what happened.  I am seeking peace.

Has your life changed specifically as a result of your experience?       Yes    I have an open mind more so than I ever had before.

Have you shared this experience with others?        Yes    I am not sure if they believe it.  Some others wish they had this experience.

What emotions did you experience following your experience?  fear

What was the best and worst part of your experience?    If my daughter's spirit sought out my spirit, I am blessed.  It is the uncertainty of afterlife that is disturbing.  I am amazed that we have this connection.

Is there anything else you would like to add concerning the experience?       I miss my daughter every moment of every day.
