While sitting in my bed watching TV on Christmas night, the television screen became blocked.  I followed the blockage upwards and standing in front of the TV was my deceased husband.  He looked healthy and young, probably about 32 years old....cancer free and smiling and happy like I hadn't seen in sooooooo long.  He smiled and told me, "Bev, I'm O.K., don't worry about me and I will see you soon."  I got out of the bed to try to touch him, but he was gone just that quickly.

Yes

            Describe what you heard, how clearly you heard it and what was communicated:  

I heard his voice and he told me that he was O.K.

            Did the voice or sound seem to originate externally or outside of you, inside you, or did you not hear a voice or sound, but had a sense of knowing what was communicated? 

Outside, it was like he was standing right in the room with me.

            If you heard a voice or sound, was it similar or dissimilar from the voice or sound the deceased made when they were alive?          

Sounded exactly like him!

            Is there any possibility what you heard was from any other source present in the surroundings at the time of your experience?          

Absolutely not, I was the only one home.

            Was there any possible impairment to your hearing at the time of the experience?  

no

Did you feel a touch or experience any physical contact from the deceased?           

No

Did you see the deceased?        

Yes

Younger, probably about 32 years old and healthy.  He was only 85 pounds when he died and he must have weighed at least 200 pounds when he came to me that night.

            How clearly did the deceased appear?            Slightly, very slightly transparent.

            How much of the deceased did you see?       It was his whole person, but I only paid attention to his face really.

            Did the deceased appear or not appear to be the age at which they died?       most definitely

            How healthy did the deceased appear to be?            He was healthier than I've ever seen him.

            Is there any possibility what you saw was from any other source present in the surroundings at the time of your experience?           no

Did you smell a distinct smell, scent, fragrance or odor associated with the deceased?     

Uncertain

How long did the experience last?       

maybe 20 to 30 seconds

Was the beginning and end of the experience gradual or more sudden?        

sudden

Could you sense the emotions or mood of the deceased?          

Yes, He was happy.

How do you currently view the reality of your experience?          

Experience was definitely real

Everything points to the fact that it really WAS him.

            Was the experience dream like in any way?  

No

Describe in detail your feelings/emotions during the experience:          

I was so happy to see him and have him tell me that he made it to the other side.

Was there any emotional healing in any way following the experience?          

Yes

I'm still grieving, but there is a sense of relief knowing that he is fine.

What was the best and worst part of your experience?     

Best-being able to see him and talk to him and feel his presence in the room.  Worst-that it all had to come to an end.

Did you have any changes of attitudes or beliefs following the experience?   Yes

Belief in the afterlife and in a place where there is no pain.

Did the experience give you any spiritual understandings such as life, death, afterlife, God, etc.?            Yes, I now believe in an afterlife.

What emotions did you feel during the experience?            Sadness that he couldn't stay longer, but happy because I knew he was so much better off.

Most people think I'm crazy and that I was hallucinating, but I don't care.  I know what I experienced and it was wonderful to have that connection with him because it allows me to believe that he has been taken care of and is happy once again.
