The weekend before Valentines day (2-14-06 Tuesday) My twins dog Bandit was ill and we had to put him at the ER Vet again, two weekends in a role. That night

a Angel came to me in the middle of the night, I woke up wide awake and sat up in my bed and saw her coming towards me like going to get something, she was smiling big and she bypassed my bed and disappeared. She had dark hair and she was in a globe like cloud in a white robe or dress. I thought maybe she was my Grandmother that recently passed but really couldn't tell, she was a beautiful Angel I guessed with no wings. Bandit died V. Day afternoon, we were both very devastated. I couldn't work the next day, neither of us. That next morning my twin Carla (dogs owner) we live together felt a sunshine peace feeling come over her as she woke up. Never felt it before. She realized Bandit was in Heaven because she would tell him that he was the sunshine on the mountain top.

I also felt a peace feeling over me the night after he died for a few seconds.

My dog had emergency Surgery that following week on a Thursday, Bandits sister

Scarlette. She spent the night at the Vet and the morning I was going to go get her, I felt something jump on my bed, and I knew it was Bandit. I didn't see him. Then a few hours later my twin called me saying she put her keys in the door to go in and heard Bandit barking on the other side. I was at the Vet getting Scarlette. She said it was the way he use to bark when he was younger. She didn't see him though. Also we both felt him on the same night sleeping near our feet, presence of him, feeling him, never actually seeing him. Then when we brought his ashes home a few weeks later, I cried all the way home. Carla couldn't pick them up, she was too upset. Well my Dad was in town spending the week and he felt something swoosh by his leg and saw a black shadow. Then I went outside to get my Scarlette in from using the bathroom and I saw two dogs by the weeping willow tree they use to spend that bathroom time at and when I got closer, the other disappeared. It was at night. The next night my twin had this self conscience type dream, she was sleeping on a blow up mattress in the living room, her floor is being redone in her room and my dog likes to sleep with her. Scarlette was on her back sleeping at her feet and my twin Carla was sleeping on her side, Carla said she woke up in the real type dream and felt Bandit sleeping against her back, he then lifted his head over to her side and looked at her, she told him she loved him and that she didn't want to hold him back from being in Heaven and that to go see me and look after Scarlette, then she said he was at a bowl at the foot of her bed and she noticed Scarlette sleeping on her back still and he wagged his tail and ran off to the distance, which the wall was all dark. She said she was sitting up and woke up and Scarlette was still on her back sleeping. She said Bandit was young again, not a puppy, but maybe a year old. She woke me up crying at 230 am after wards.

Then we recently adopted another dog that I found at a shelter four hours away.

The dog is 6 mos. old. Male Pekinese like Bandit and Scarlette. The lady that took in the dog that worked at the shelter said the dog was abused and taken away from its owner and that she picked our application out of tons because I put a letter with mine saying what happened to our Bandit and that Scarlette was lonely and we wanted to cheer her up and get another dog. I prayed about it alot. I felt kinda of guilty. That lady lost her dog too on Valentines day a hour before Bandit passed and she let us get the puppy. That puppy has Bandits split personality, lovable and playful, We named him Nelson after our Grandparents that passed a year before. When we recently brought him home, I prayed for Bandit to send me a sign that he helped us get this dog for his sister as a companion and that it was ok. Well the next morning my dog was barking at the sliding glass door and I saw Bandit walk right on by real quick.

He disappeared when he got to the Grill sitting in his path. My son saw him that night walk by too outside the back Sliding glass door. Bandit was there to show us that he was delighted that we got a new dog and saved it and it has bonded now with my dog Scarlette. Once in a while at night as I sleep I can feel Bandit by my feet. When I realize what I feel, he's gone. I know for a fact that our dog knew how much we were grieving and how much we loved him and he stayed around to let us know there is life after death and he was young and happy. ME AND MY TWIN NEVER HAD THIS EXPERIENCE BEFORE EXCEPT WHEN MY GRANDMA DIED TWO YEARS PRIOR AND SHE SAW A GLIMPSE OF HER AT XMAS. That Angel came to me to show me she was going to pick him up and take him into heaven. I never will forget our experience. I hope he comes around sometimes because I we miss him and that BOND WILL ALWAYS BE THERE WITH HIM AND MY TWIN SISTER.

SISTER HEARD HIM BARKING ON THE OTHER SIDE OF OUR DOOR WHEN SHE PUT THE KEYS INTO IT AND MY DOG WAS AT THE VET.

IN THE HOUSE.

SLEEPING AGAINST MY SISTERS BACK AND WE FELT HIM SLEEPING AT OUR FOOT OF OUR BED ON OUR LEGS.

FAMILIAR LIKE HE ALWAYS LOVED TO SLEEP AGAINST YOUR BODY.

Yes

CARLA'S DREAM AND I SAW HIM AFTER WE BROUGHT THE NEW DOG HOME. QUICKLY THOUGH.

            How clearly did the deceased appear?            VERY CLEAR, I SAW HIM FROM HIS STOMACH DOWN TO HIS LEGS WALK BY, HE IS BLACK AND WHITE.

            How much of the deceased did you see?       BOTTOM HALF, CARLA SAW HIM CLEARLY IN HER REAL TYPE DREAM.

            Did the deceased appear or not appear to be the age at which they died?            HE WAS YOUNG AGAIN. MAYBE A YEAR OLD.

            How healthy did the deceased appear to be?            VERY HEALTHY, WAGGING HIS TAIL AND EVEN DRANK OUT A WHITE BOWL THAT DIDN'T

CARLA'S DREAM WAS QUICK, SO WAS THE OTHER EXPERIENCES, 30 SECONDS OR A MINUTE AT THE MOST.

Was the beginning and end of the experience gradual or more sudden?         

END WAS SUDDEN, GRADUAL AT FIRST. SO WAS THE ANGEL, SHE WAS SUDDEN THE WHOLE TIME. BANDIT IN CARLA'S DREAM WAS GRADUAL UNTIL SHE STARTED TALKING TO HIM.

Could you sense the emotions or mood of the deceased?         

Yes

VERY HAPPY.

How do you currently view the reality of your experience?        

Experience was definitely real

          Please explain why you view the reality of your experience as real or not real:  

THE DREAM WAS REAL FOR CARLA BECAUSE SCARLETTE MY DOG WAS AT THE SAME POSITION SHE WAS SLEEPING IN BEFORE AND AFTER THE DREAM.

          Was the experience dream like in any way? 

Yes

DREAM LIKE BUT REAL. I HAD SELF CONSCIENCE DREAMS BEFORE, BOTH OF US TWINS, AND THEY WERE NOT NICE. WE BOTH SOMETIMES FEEL DEMONS TRYING TO MESS WITH US AND WE WOULD PRAY AND TELL THEM THAT WE LOVE AND BELIEVE IN JESUS CHRIST AND THEY GO AWAY.

Describe in detail your feelings/emotions during the experience:        

CARLA SAID SHE WAS HAPPY AND FELT A PEACE FEELING. RELAXED.

Was there any emotional healing in any way following the experience?         

Yes

WE BOTH KNOW THAT BANDIT IS IN HEAVEN AND THAT HE WAS CONTACTING US TO LET US KNOW THAT. GOD REALLY ANSWERS THAT QUESTION AND KNEW HOW DEEP OUR GRIEF WAS AND THAT WE BOTH TRIED TO SAVE HIM AND GET HIM WELL. ITS BEEN OVER A MONTH NOW AND I STILL CRY EVERY DAY AND SHE DOES TOO BECAUSE WE MISS HIM, BUT WE BOTH KNOW HE'S IN A BETTER PLACE. WE FEEL LIKE HE WAS JUST TOO YOUNG TO DIE. HE WAS FULL OF LIFE AND JOY UP TO THE END. WE SPENT ALOT OF MONEY, I HAD TO BORROW FROM MY RETIREMENT TO PAY THOSE VET BILLS AND WE FEEL WE WERE CHEATED BECAUSE HE WAS MISDIAGNOSED. WE BOTH LOVE OUR DOGS AND TAKE CARE OF THEM AND SPENT A LOT OF TIME WITH THEM, THEY BOTH WENT TO THE MOUNTAINS A FEW MONTHS BEFORE HE FELL ILL.

What was the best and worst part of your experience?   

BEST WAS SEEING BANDIT AGAIN AND SEEING A ANGEL FOR THE 1ST TIME AND THE WORST IS THAT THE GRIEF IS STILL THERE BUT NOT AS BAD NOW SINCE WE GOT THE NEW PUPPY.

Has your life changed specifically as a result of your experience?

IM CLOSER TO GOD, ME AND MY TWIN ARE AND I SPEND MORE TIME WITH MY DOG AND THE NEW PUPPY AND I AM A BETTER PERSON WITH PEOPLE AND THERE NEEDS.

Did the experience give you any spiritual understandings such as life, death, afterlife, God, etc.?         

Yes    GOD GAVE US THE MIRACLE OF KNOWING OUR DOG IS IN HEAVEN

AND HE TAKES CARE OF HIS ANIMALS AS WELL AS HUMANS, AND ITS BROUGHT US CLOSER TO HIM IN EVERY WAY. I LIVE FOR THE LORD AND I APPRECIATE THE TIME WE HAVE WITH OUR ANIMALS MORE NOW.

I NEVER SAW A ANGEL BEFORE AND I GOT TO SEE THE ONE THAT WENT TO GET OUR BANDIT.

What emotions did you feel during the experience?         

CARLA WAS CRYING BECAUSE SHE WAS SO HAPPY TO SEE BANDIT TELLING HER GOODBYE BECAUSE SHE DIDN'T GET TO BECAUSE HE DIED UNEXPECTEDLY. WE BOTH ARE HAVING A TIME GRIEVING BECAUSE HE WAS MY TWINS BABY, HE WAS HER EVERYTHING, THEY HAD A GREAT BOND. HE WOULD BARK THE WORDS I LOVE YOU FOR HIS FAVORITE TOY, HE WAS THE MOST LOVING SMART DOG IN THE WORLD.
