Experience description:

Informed on morning of 8/27 son killed in car accident. From that moment I was surrounded by loved ones 24/7. Even when I walked my dogs late at night, I was never alone except Weds 8/31, when everyone but best friend went home to prepare for next day wake. At around midnight, 9/1/16 insisted my friend go home, I'll be fine walking dogs myself, did it all the time. She left, I walked usual route and as I came to the hill on my road, house in sight, suddenly a ball of light with an tail like a comet was spinning around me from left to right. I stopped, and said 'what the 'f' was that, looked around for car headlights! Started walking up hill again and the orb started circling again,  I stopped,  looked around for a light source,  nothing! Crossed the street in front of house,  stopped at mailbox and that'd when the biggest orb of light streaked across my neighbors house,  always left to right,  spun around towards trees again looking for light source, nothing! Ran into the house! I saw it,  it was real, assume it had to be Austin but I have always remained skeptical!

 How do you currently view the reality of your experience? Experience was definitely real

            Please explain why you view the reality of your experience as real or not real:     I experienced it and questioned it everytime it happened!! All 3 consecutive times!

            Was the experience dream like in any way?           No  

Describe in detail your feelings/emotions during the experience: At that point I was just going through my normal routine but more solemn!

 Was there any emotional healing in any way following the experience?         No

 What was the best and worst part of your experience? it's been confusing

Did you have any changes of attitudes or beliefs following the experience?          No      Did the experience give you any spiritual understandings such as life, death, afterlife, God, etc.?           Uncertain     I know I saw the lights, however I need more than lights to assure me my son is at peace!

What emotions did you feel during the experience?           weird actually,  called a friend immediately to inform what I saw,  but I don't dwell over it. The experience randomly pops into my memory and I remind myself that it happened. However, the devastating loss of my son takes precedence

 At one point the orb looked like it rippled.

 Did you meet or see any other beings other than the deceased?   No

 just the circle of light with a light trail like a comet.

 Did any part of your experience seem to occur in a place other than the location described above?           No

 Have you shared this experience with others?       

Yes    Surprisingly, most believe we are energy and when we die that energy has to go somewhere. Even after what I saw I've always believed that we're like a light bulb and when we die it's lights out and that's it.

 Have you shared this experience formally or informally with any other researcher or web site?           No

  Is there anything else you would like to add regarding your experience?      Only that I want to believe it was Austin, I'm sure it was but I am still not convinced that he's okay without me.
