Let me give background. Darryl suffered terrible in his 43 years. Raped at 12, then the anxiety attacks so severe he would pass out. Terrible depressions throughout his life then. He was probably Bi-Polar but never diagnosed. Doctors just gave him pills that seemed to help for a while but always let him down again.   In the first weeks and months after Darryl's death. I prayed constantly to God to understand how Darryl suffered and couldn't help himself. Darryl was so loving and kind he even carried spiders outside rather than kill them.

  It was the end of the day, I was on the computer looking at his pictures as I always did. But this time one of the pictures looked funny. It was taken at night so the background was black. I have the capability to magnify a picture or part of a picture so I enlarged part of the picture to 400%. There was a perfect drawing of a sheep. It was perfectly drawn as with a charcoal and was right over Darryl's head. Since Jesus called his followers sheep, I understood then that Jesus had welcomed Darryl home as one of his own.

  In the morning, I was in a rush to get on the computer and see the picture again. But it was gone. I understood then that it was given to me  just that once to let me know Darryl was with Jesus.

Experience was definitely real

The drawing of the sheep was so perfect, it couldn't be mistaken as anything else. I see it as clear in my mind now as at the time it appeared and I am sure it will remain that clear to me always

          Was the experience dream like in any way? 

No

At the time it appeared, I didn't understand but understanding came in the hours and days later.

Was there any emotional healing in any way following the experience?         

Yes

I know he is in heaven with Jesus and the Heavenly Father.

Has your life changed specifically as a result of your experience?

The family is closer and there is more praying.

Did you have any changes of attitudes or beliefs following the experience?            Yes    More reverence for the Heavenly Father and Jesus. Stronger belief.

Did the experience give you any spiritual understandings such as life, death, afterlife, God, etc.?         

Yes    I looked at everything I could about ADC and I am a believer  and the God of Consolation is working in my life. I don't know if there will come a time when I can think about Darryl and not cry because I miss him so much. But I know where he is.
