On 2/24/2008, My mom had been hospitalized after getting a stroke, we were all worried about her, then on 2/25/2008 she was pronounced dead by the doctors at Mount Sinai Hospital in Manhattan, NY. It was a very sad, and emotional moment for us knowing that she was very young, she was only 36 years old, and was a mother of five children, she had been a mother, and a father to me and my brothers and sisters, who were abandoned by my alcoholic father. That night about 1:35am, I was laying in my bed thinking about my beloved mother, my brothers were awake with me, so were my sisters, we were talking about our mother, and how much we loved her, when suddenly a purple beam struck through the window, it then became an electric ball, and began levitating. The ball was purple violet, and had a lot of static surrounding it, seconds later the electric ball faded, I thought it was my head playing games on me, but suddenly it appeared again, and floated towards the center of my bedroom, that's when me and my brothers jumped up, and ran to my stepfather. We talked with a catholic priest and he told us that this is our mother, communicating with us, and saying her goodbye's to us. two days later we saw the same static ball, this time it was in the kitchen, and it made a whistling noise.

The first experience I had was slow, the ball just seemed to levitate.

Experience was definitely real

I view the experience as real, because I wasn't the only person who experienced it, my other brothers were with me, and witnessed the experience too.

I was describing the situation to my younger brothers, we were all speaking about wanting to be with our mother. We were all sad, and confused about it.

What was the best and worst part of your experience?     

The best part was knowing that my mom came back to say goodbye, and the worst part was knowing she wasn't coming back.
