Experience description:

Touch lamp in my bedroom would turn on. At first I noticed when I came home from work that it was on, so I turned it off.  I never used it.  It got to the point that I would wake up in the morning and it was on.  I would turn it off, go downstairs and when I came back to my bedroom, it was on.  It happened 10 times before it hit me that maybe it was Bobby letting me know he was ok.  It gave me comfort and sometimes I would say "Good Night, God Bless, sweet dreams & I love you when I went to bed.  Sometimes when I woke up in the AM, I'd say Good Morning Glory.  I left the lamp on as I knew his spirit was with me.  After a month or so, the lamp turned off.  After a week of the lamp being off, I was feeling down.  I was in my room getting ready for bed and I said, Bobby, I know that you are probably visiting your friends or helping someone, but please come back to me when you're done.  I sat down on the bed and that lamp turned on...  I just cried.  I was sure his spirit was with me.  I told everyone that story.  I worked in an environment where there was too much office politics and ended up quitting after I caught management mocking me. (had put up with office garbage for 10 years)  I was so relieved after 1 week, that lamp went off.  (Aug/2011)  September I found out employer is telling people that I'm crazy (because of the lamp story) The lamp came back on around Sept. 11, 2011.

After the second time the lamp turned on, I wondered if maybe a fly or a spider would be heavy enough to turn it on.  I got a plastic straw and kept tapping the lamp with the straw & it wouldn't turn on.  I kept turning it off & it would turn back on.  I kept praying for my son to visit me in my dreams, because he had visited his brother, girlfriend & friends.  My sons have always been the lights of my life. I believe that he was letting me know, that although he went to heaven, that his spirit with with me and he was still a light in my life.  I missed him so much.  I took comfort in the signs he sent to me with that lamp.  I have faith and believe that everything in life happens for a reason.  God gave him to me for 21 short years and I was more than proud to be his mother. The healing that I received from the lamp was worth the hell I'm going through now over telling that story to coworkers.

I have smelled his cologne a few times in the house.  That had nothing to do with the lamp.
