Experience description:

My older brother called me often before his death.  Often,  he would call to tell me to turn on the radio during a "classics show"  when they would play the song "White Bird",  one of his favorites.  After his death,  when the phone would ring,  for a second I would think it might be him,  until the realization would set in that it couldn't be him.  I was asleep one night and the phone rang.  I answered,  and my brother,  in a faraway voice, like he had just woke up,  said "hi there",  as he always used to,  it was his voice. I told him,  "I knew you would call!!!!,  Are you alright?"  He said "I'm okay,  I don't even miss cigarettes."  (If this were all in my head,  cigarettes would have been the LAST thing I would think of,  I am a non-smoker,  and he was a heavy smoker.  I said "What's it like?"  He said "amazing.....there are just no words to describe it."  I asked him how he was able to do this,  and he went into an explanation about energies and frequencies,  and how he could "tune in" to my frequency,  just like I could tune in to my favorite radio station. At the end of his life,  several of us were caring for him at home with hospice,  and I asked him if he knew or remembered that we were all there.  He said he knew,  but that he was "in and out".  He had to go then,  and it seemed that it took a lot of energy for him and he was tired.  I woke up with the phone from the nightstand in my hand.  It was a wonderful experience,  and the funny thing is,  I had never read about different "frequencies" between the dead and the living,  but since he talked to me about it and I have read more about ADC's,  I see other references to this.
