Experience description:

It started with my sister and I sitting in a friend's house. We were communicating, but not orally. I knew it was time for her to go. We both stood, and I told her I missed her. She had such a peaceful look on her face, but I could tell she felt pity for me, too. She said she knew I had missed her. I asked her to please not wait so long to come back and talk to me.

I asked her what she did at the place she was. She said "We are sort of like what you all would call angels. We have responsibilities over others, then there are others that have responsibilities over us." I said I hoped I go where she is when I die. She said "Oh, I hope so too!". She put her arms around me, then she was gone. When I awoke, I was SO happy. It has never crossed my mind that that was a dream. I KNOW she talked to me to reassure me. It has happened a total of 4 times. Each time is different in context, but the same, too.

Did you hear the deceased or hear something associated with the deceased?  Yes
        
      Did the voice or sound seem to originate externally, or outside of you, inside of you, or did you not hear a voice or sound but had a knowing of what was communicated?  As described in #3, we communicated, but not orally.

Did you feel a touch or experience any physical contact from the deceased?  Yes

      Where and how were you touched?  When she put her arms around me to hug me bye

      Was the touch familiar?  familiar

Did you see the deceased?  Yes

      Describe the appearance of the deceased:  She was beautiful, and I can only describe her look as Serene.

      Did the deceased appear or not appear to be the age at which they died?  Same age

      How healthy did the deceased appear to be?  Healthy

Did you smell a distinct smell, fragrance or odor associated with the deceased?  No 

How long did the experience last?  Not sure

Was the beginning and end of the experience gradual or more sudden?  sudden

Could you sense the emotions or mood of the deceased?  She was totally at peace, but concerned for me.
      Describe:  She was totally at peace, but concerned for me.

How do you currently view the reality of your experience:  Experience was definitely real

Describe in detail your feelings/emotions during the experience:  that part is hard to describe. I was just so happy to see my sister. Then when she had to leave, I was sad, but understood.

What other attitudes and beliefs about your experience do you currently have:      Joy

          Since it has happened several times, I hope it happens again that she talks to me in my sleep.

Was there any emotional healing in any way following the experience?  Yes
      Describe:  I now know that my sister is somewhere where she is happy and contented.

Did the experience give you any spiritual understandings such as life, death, afterlife, God, etc.?  Yes
      Describe:  I firmly believe there is an afterlife, because of what has happened.

Did you ever in your life have a near-death experience, out of body experience or other spiritual event?  Yes
      Describe:  Since I was a child, I have had dreams about other people that come true.

Did you meet or see any other beings other than the deceased?  Uncertain

      Describe:  On one of my sisters visits, there were others with her. I knew what they were thinking, the same as her, but I couldn't see them. 

Did you have any changes of attitudes or beliefs following the experience?  Yes

      Describe:  that this life is not all there is

Has the experience affected your relationships?  Daily life?  Religious practices etc.?  Career choices?  I am a believer, now, though not in the conventional way.

Have you shared this experience with others?  Yes

      Describe:  Most people believe me, because they can tell when I'm telling them about it, that I am sincere. They also know I'm not the type to come up with things like this.

Have you shared this experience formally or informally with any other researcher or web site?  No

What emotions/feelings did you experience following your experience?  Just happy that my sister talked to me. Then later, sadness in between her visits.

What was the best and worst part of your experience?  No worst part, whatsoever.

Has your life changed specifically as a result of your experience?  Uncertain

      Describe:  All I can say is that is was certainly no dream. There is a difference.
 

sECOND & tHIRD EXPERIENCE



This is the second and third ones. The fourth one is longer, so I will post that separate.

On the second visit, (I was asleep) we were in my mother's bedroom, and mother was present, also. She asked my sister why she came back, and told her it hurt me to have to say goodbye again. My sister told mother she came because she had something to tell me. Then she turned to me and said: " I understand what you are doing, and why you are doing it." Then she was gone.

The third visit has made me ponder quite a bit for the meaning. (Asleep during this) She wasn't really plain this time, as before. She didn't look quite as solid as the other times. I asked her why she had waited so long to come back again (a few years between visits.) She said "Because I can't come back all at one time." Then she was gone again. Even though that was a confusing statement, it still made me overjoyed that she had come again.

      Describe:  We communicated without actually speaking

      Is there any possibility that what you heard was from any other source in the surroundings at the time of your experience?  no

      Was there any possible impairment to your hearing at the time of the experience?  no

Did you feel a touch or experience any physical contact from the deceased?  No

Did you see the deceased?  Yes

      Describe the appearance of the deceased:  2nd visit, she looked as always. 3rd visit, not quite plain

      How clearly did the deceased appear?  solid, then not quite solid

      How much of the deceased did you see?  from about the hips up

      Did the deceased appear or not appear to be the age at which they died?  seemed to be same age-34

      How healthy did the deceased appear to be?  no infirmities. Healthy

      Is there any possibility what you saw was from any other source present in your surroundings at the time of your experience?  no

Could you sense the emotions or mood of the deceased?  Serene, as before
      Describe:  Serene, as before

How do you currently view the reality of your experience:  Experience was definitely real

Describe in detail your feelings/emotions during the experience:  Every time she has talked to me in my sleep, I am just in awe.

fourth EXPERIENCE

While asleep, I was in a large room with my sister. There were others across the room, but though I couldn't see them.  I knew they were there with her, and I could read their thoughts, too. I know they were male. Like angels, or escorts. She (my sister) was sitting in a straight-backed chair beside a bed. The chair was white, the bed and bedclothes white, and she was wearing white. As before, she had a beautiful serene look on her face. I could feel the love she had for me, but she wasn't sad.

On the bed beside her were some white towels, folded and stacked, like she was packed up to leave again. Everything was such a bright vibrant white. It was like I was begging her to stay here and not go back. I asked her if everything was as white and bright there as these were. She nodded her head yes, and had a little smile on her face.

I said "Why can't you just leave everything there, stay here and we'll get you all new things." Across the room where the males were, I heard them (telepathically) say: "She just doesn't understand. We can't do that." They said it with great sympathy. Then she was gone again. Since then, I have had VERY lucid dreams of knowing she was back here, but visiting someone else. I ached to see her so badly, that I woke up feeling so depressed and it stayed with me all day.

      Describe:  This time, she didn't say anything. But the males with her (that I couldn't see) did.

      Describe the appearance of the deceased:  She was beautiful, as usual. Completely contented, but she felt compassion for me.

      How clearly did the deceased appear?  solid

      How much of the deceased did you see?  from the hips up

      Did the deceased appear or not appear to be the age at which they died?  same age-34

      How healthy did the deceased appear to be?  Healthy

      Is there any possibility what you saw was from any other source present in your surroundings at the time of your experience?  no

Could you sense the emotions or mood of the deceased?  She was contented.
      Describe:  She was contented.

Did the deceased give you information you did not previously know?  no, unless about the bright whiteness where she is

How do you currently view the reality of your experience:  Experience was definitely real

Describe in detail your feelings/emotions during the experience:  I felt like I was desperate to convince her to stay here, until the males said they couldn't do that.

What other attitudes and beliefs about your experience do you currently have:

          I wonder, with her being packed to leave, having escorts? and not actually talking to me, herself, if that was her real goodbye. It saddens me to think I may never get another visit from her.

      Describe:  I was asleep, but it wasn't like a dream.

      Describe:  There were males there across the room, but I couldn't see them. I could only sense their presence and hear them telepathically.

Did you observe or hear anything regarding people or events during your experience that could be verified later?  No

Did you see or visit any beautiful or otherwise distinctive locations, levels or dimensions?  Uncertain

      Describe:  I didn't recognize the place and it was all bright white. ?

Have you shared this experience with others?  Yes

      Describe:  Everyone believes me. I don't make up things like this. Before she died, neither one of us actually believed in angels, adc, etc.

What emotions/feelings did you experience following your experience?  It is always exquisite seeing my sister again. But I feel sadness later because she isn't here.

What was the best and worst part of your experience?  Best part-seeing here. Worst part, her being gone.
