I lost my father 6 months ago after a long illness, he passed because of sepsis for a kidney infection.
After his death for the first two months I never dreamed of him.....total void.
I was grieving yet I could go on with my everyday life though that was hard.
One day, precisely after 4 months from his death, something happened, one morning as I was still dozing I heard my name called and as I was still sleeping I found myself in a very beautiful avenue surrounded with trees, and at the end of it I saw my father approaching me and he was enveloped by so intense and wonderful a light that in one second I found myself all engulfed by my father's warmth and his perfume.
He was much younger and without the sufferings that had accompanied him in his last months, and we spoke without resorting to words but just with our thought if I may say so, and I say to him that I miss him very much and that I feel very sick because of his death and he replied he knew very well how I felt but said that I had been very clever and that I still was clever..... he repeats this several times until I ask him how this encounter, that I felt wasn't a dream, was possible.
He made me understand I had to thank God to have allowed this..... I was crying at this point, I felt I could be about to wake and I realized I was drenching my pillow with tears until my husband shook me to take me to a full wake condition.
In the following weeks and months I kept dreaming my father but I can tell these latter are dreams ..... they are different from that meeting at the end of July, I was so strongly aware of myself, of him and of our dialogue , which is something that in normal dreams is kept into a state of confusion and without a clear pattern..... it wasn't a NDE however it was something that went beyond our reality, now I am certain that he is living in another mode ["modo", but may have meant: "mondo", world] and not all ends with physical death.
