A few years after my father's death, I was sound asleep and having a dream.  All of a sudden, as if someone turned the TV channel I was watching, I found myself opening the door to a doctor's office.  I went to the window opening where there was a sign in sheet.  As I look on the sheet to sign my name, I saw my father's signature.  I was shocked and looked up and over to my right, where my father stood.  He was leaning on the counter, was very tanned and healthy looking, and smiled at me.  He looked to be around 50 years old (he was 76 when he died).  I could see the clothes he was wearing, everything! I screamed, "Dad!" I reached over to give him a big hug and he then just disappeared.  I was so very grateful for the experience and know if was REAL. 

Just a few months after he died, a family friend reported that in the middle of the night she awoke to find my father standing in her bedroom.  She said he had a flannel shirt on and a ball cap - his usual attire.  He told her, "Ronnie, tell the Ma and the girls I am alright."  She was so freaked out that she jumped up and tried to find one of our phone numbers to call but couldn't.  She did later the next day.  I have four sisters and they all wanted to know why would he come to her and not them.  I reasoned that he did come to her because if he came to any one of his daughters, the others would feel hurt at the time. This was his way of keeping the peace.
