Experience description:

I know I was half asleep, I had my eyes slightly opened but I still felt them heavy, I heard my mom's voice, she was having a conversation, I think with my dad, I usually heard them speaking to one another in the mornings. I tried to listen to her talking, she sounded like her calm self, I just felt so happy I wanted to jump out of bed so damn quickly because I thought I would see her, but as I did get up to put my slippers on, her voice was completely gone.  I sat on my bed for a moment, I said "thank you mama, I heard you and I feel happy that you came by, I love you!" And that was it. My mom has communicated with me several times already through strange electrical stuff, but today was the very first time I clearly heard her talking. I have dreams about her too, and they are usually wonderful, only one time it was not good, she was in that ugly hospital. I write down these things so I will never forget, minus the ugly dream.

             Describe what you heard, how clearly you heard it and what was communicated:    My mom was speaking to someone

             Did the voice or sound seem to originate externally or outside of you, inside you, or did you not hear a voice or sound, but had a sense of knowing what was communicated?      Not to far from me

             If you heard a voice or sound, was it similar or dissimilar from the voice or sound the deceased made when they were alive?           sounded exactly like my mom

             Is there any possibility what you heard was from any other source present in the surroundings at the time of your experience?           No one was home but me and my sleeping toddler son

             Was there any possible impairment to your hearing at the time of the experience?   Yes and no

 Did you feel a touch or experience any physical contact from the deceased? No

 Did you see the deceased?         No

 Did you smell a distinct smell, scent, fragrance or odor associated with the deceased?      No

 How long did the experience last?        A while

 Was the beginning and end of the experience gradual or more sudden?         Her voice carried on the same from start to end

 Could you sense the emotions or mood of the deceased?           Yes

 My mom sounded like herself, calm

 Did the deceased give you information you did not previously know?  I couldn't make out what she was saying, so no.

 How do you currently view the reality of your experience?           Experience was definitely real

             Please explain why you view the reality of your experience as real or not real:           I can't explain

             Was the experience dream like in any way?   Uncertain

 I wasn't asleep all the way.

Describe in detail your feelings/emotions during the experience:           I was happy, and I just wanted to jump out of my bed and run to my mom!

 At that moment yes but sadness came right back

 What was the best and worst part of your experience?      Hearing my mom clearly was the best, realizing she really wasn't there was the worse

I heard myself yelling for help once and I saw myself laying in a bed, my fried later told me she saw me shaking in bed and mumbling
