Experience description:

My dad is my best friend and was my whole world.  He passed away unexpectedly. 3 weeks before he passed he had knee surgery and the day before he passed he had fell on his knee and didn't tell me before he went to bed. All he said was "I think I really messed it up. "  I stood at the top of the stairs that night and for some reason something told me not to go down to his room.  I found him the next morning .

About a week later I had my first vision of him which was after my speech at his funeral I saw him in a flashback that night of him in the crowd at his funeral and he held a thumbs up and smiled at me.

2 weeks after that I went to sleep and I started having a hazy dream (kind of like a soft filter was over my whole dream ) I was walking up a hill and saw a bear with her cubs running towards me ( my dad was a hunter and shot a record bear) then the bears were actually digital and they ran away from me , that's when I turned up the hill and saw a white room , filled with photos of my dads life and his belongings including gifts I bought him and he bought me . Then I saw my dad ! He had a glow to him and looked like he did when he was in his 40s , he looked so good , he lifted up his pant leg and showed me his knee. He had a big X on the knee they performed surgery on , he came up to me and I started hugging him and crying saying I miss him so much . He cried and said "I cry a lot but it makes me feel better " then he put his arm around me and walked me through the white bright room. I woke up and I felt such an intense feeling , it didn't feel like a dream because I knew that was my dad taking to me . I remember every vivid detail and I'll never forget just how good he looked and pain free .
