1. About two days after Josh's passing, me and my parents were looking through boxes of family photos and deeply weeping. My dad went upstairs to get another box and when he did, the audio to the television turned on with no picture. The remote was no where near us. It turned on to the Nascar races. We instantly got a sense that it was Josh letting us know he was ok. Then, when we looked inside the next box of photos, my dad found a letter from Josh at the bottom of the box dated from only a few years prior. There was no way that this letter should of been in this box full of childhood memories. At the bottom of the letter Josh drew a picture and wrote: "Have fun at the Nascar race Dad." We knew then it was most definitely him. 

2. We were eating a meal that someone had kindly brought over. On our TV we consistently looped a DVD of a picture slideshow we played at Josh's funeral. We were crying and then all of a sudden the power to the TV went off. The remote was not near us. My dad checked the electrical outlet and it was still plugged in. However the outlet fuse somehow went out. We all got the same feeling that it was Josh. 

3.My mom was deeply mourning on a Sunday afternoon around 4 pm. About a month after Josh's passing. She was really worried if he was ok or not, wanting to make sure he made it to heaven. When she walked into the living room she saw a circular rainbow light above my brothers picture projected on the wall. The circular light projected a rainbow hologram above our family picture on fireplace mantle. It started small and grew a little larger. She said it pulsed and she instantly felt like it was Josh communicating with her. She could hear him almost speaking to her in her mind and she spoke back, as though in a conversation. He told her he didn't mean for this to happen but that he's ok. And that he loves her. It was an incredibly emotional and healing experience. It truly changed how she grieved. She knew for a fact that Josh was alive. It lasted about 3 minutes. My dad has a picture of the light. He witnesses the entire thing. 

4. On My brothers birthday, we did a paddle out service to celebrate Josh's life. That night, my mom received the autopsy report in the mail. It was so disturbing and upsetting. I began to research things online about the cause of death and had this strong sense that Josh wanted me to stop. That he wouldn't want me to look this up. It was so strong, I felt like he was watching me. Then all of a sudden the lights above my kitchen table flickered on and off. My husband witnessed it as well. I instantly turned my computer off and told Josh I will never look that up again.
