The first time I saw him was in May of 2001. I was taking a bath, I planned on seeing the Medium John Edward in Denver, I felt my fathers presents and began to ask him a series of questions. Because he told me I would be read at that event. He validated me because I am a skeptic by appearing to me. I saw what was an orange glowing ball about 1 inch round.

When I have done investigations in haunted areas the majority of my pictures with spirits in them are orbs. They have conveyed to me it is energy efficient to be in that state.  Needless to say, my questions were answered the next day at the show, I was read out of 3000 people waiting to be read.

Did you sense an awareness or presence of the deceased without actually seeing, hearing, feeling or smelling them ?  Yes
      Describe:  I guess it would be the same way you can tell when a person is staring at you. You just seem to know that they are. It's an inner knowing. You just know when they are around.

Did you hear the deceased or hear something associated with the deceased?  Yes
      Describe:  Most of the time he will communicate through my dreams, example my mother will ask dead father a question, She started dating again, and she drove by his grave site and asked him if it was okay that she was seeing someone else. If he was okay with it.  That night I had a dream about a flood and I went to a house that a lady owned. My father worked for this lady at one point. Anyways, I remember not being able to leave this house because of the flood, and my father being in the dream and calling my mother telling her he was okay.

I knew when I woke up that my mother had asked him something and the response from him was that he was okay. So I called her an relayed the message. She knows she can communicate to him through me. Usually it is through dreams that he comes through.

      Did the voice or sound seem to originate externally, or outside of you, inside of you, or did you not hear a voice or sound but had a knowing of what was communicated?  Normally its my voice sometimes it's theirs. I can tell its them communicating by what is being said, it's usually something really obscure, they do sometimes show me some of my experiences to relay something they are trying to say.

      If you heard a voice or sound, was it similar or dissimilar to the voice or sound the deceased made when they were alive?  It sounded the same.

      How clearly did you hear the deceased?  Usually one or two words clearly. a whole sentence gets very hard to hear. It depends they will choose different ways to communicate. What ever gets across works.

      Is there any possibility that what you heard was from any other source in the surroundings at the time of your experience?  No

      Was there any possible impairment to your hearing at the time of the experience?  No

Did you feel a touch or experience any physical contact from the deceased?  Yes

      Where and how were you touched?  I have asked to have him hold my hand. It feels like prickles of static electricity. And its cold a wet cold. I have also felt it when I have slept on his side of my parents bed.

      Was the touch familiar?  I would say unfamiliar because when he was alive I could feel him holding my hand compared to prickles of coldness.

      Was anything communicated by the touch?  I would say love was communicated.

      Is there any possibility what you felt was from any other source present in your surroundings at the time of your experience?  I don't think so.

Did you see the deceased?  Yes

      Describe the appearance of the deceased:  He was an orange ball of light. Nothing similar to him when he was alive.

      How clearly did the deceased appear?  Very clear ball of light. I could not believe what I had saw, that is how clear it was.

      How much of the deceased did you see?  If that was his energy compacted all of him then.
  
      Is there any possibility what you saw was from any other source present in your surroundings at the time of your experience?  I was taking a bath, I had the shower curtain close. I had no idea where this light would have came from. No windows in the bathroom, just the light on, and a ball of orange light floating by my head.

How long did the experience last?  40 seconds

Was the beginning and end of the experience gradual or more sudden?  Gradual because I had been talking to him when he appeared.

Could you sense the emotions or mood of the deceased?  He was in a peaceful state.
      Describe:  He was in a peaceful state.

Did the deceased give you information you did not previously know?  Oh yes, He told me that I would be read at that show the next day, and that my questions I had asked would be answered.

How do you currently view the reality of your experience:  Experience was definitely real

Describe in detail your feelings/emotions during the experience:  To me when this had happened it validated me, this is something that just does not happen, I am skeptic. Despite my own experiences when there is some type of proof of validation, I feel sane. People just don't go around talking to the deceased and it is not a socially accepted ability. So when I do get validated or I have an experience that makes me think yes this is real. It puts things in perspective for a time being.

Was there any emotional healing in any way following the experience?  Yes
      Describe:  Yes in a way, I feel though in his death we have been closer then when he was alive.

Did the experience give you any spiritual understandings such as life, death, afterlife, God, etc.?  Yes
      Describe:  I learn something everyday, and I am still learning.

Have you ever made a death compact?  Yes
      Describe:  With a friend of mine but she is in good health and so am I. No the deceased was not. He was a skeptic.

Did you have any changes of attitudes or beliefs following the experience?  Yes

      Describe:  I did not believe in out of body until I almost had one.

Has the experience affected your relationships?  Daily life?  Religious practices etc.?  Career choices?  I would have to say in knowing what I know that perhaps it has changed my Religious beliefs.

Have you shared this experience with others?  Yes

      Describe:  My family and friends, They believe me. They come to me when they want to communicate with the dead.

Have you shared this experience formally or informally with any other researcher or web site?  No   

What emotions/feelings did you experience following your experience?  Little more sane knowing that I guess I am not a nut case :)

What was the best and worst part of your experience?  The best part was being closer to my father, the worst part is missing him in the physical sense.
