Experience description:

I saw my dad in my dream.  He was my age and in great health. I was at a get together at my husband's cousin's home.  He was there and I spoke to him. I told him how great he looked. I also told him that it had been so long since I had seen him.  He hugged me tightly. I don't remember him talking to me then.  For some reason I took a shower in my dream, and he left the house.  He then called me and told me that he was at the beach.  He is buried by the ocean.  He also loved the beach and took us there often when I was growing up.  He talked to me over the phone, when I must have started talking aloud in my sleep.  My husband woke up and said to me who are you talking to, which woke me up. I then lost it and started crying uncontrollably as I am starting to cry writing this.  I cried for awhile before getting out of bed and thinking about it.  I still feel sadness knowing that it might be the only time I can see him, I guess.  Unless, I feel sadness because it's bringing back emotions I haven't felt in 18 years.
