I believe that my experience started with prayer during extreme grief.  The sudden death of my 14 year old son was too much for my heart to take.  I could not bear the pain, so I handed it to God.  I prayed every day for God to absorb the intense pain that I was feeling.  I simply asked to be held through this process, help me to deal with the pain and guide me through a path of healing. 

This is still very raw for me- my son has only been gone for a little over three months. 

I started to have some unusual experiences while I was sleeping.  I was being enveloped by a violet colored light ( it looked like a ribbon of smoke). On a few occasions it would be green or white. I could feel an energy go through my head down through my body right before the light would enter my field of vision. 

I had three religious visions.  Very long and complicated to write here. 

After this I could feel spiritual visitation from my son.  I knew he was around by an energy I could feel go through my body ( starting at my head).  

I tried to discuss this with my husband.  He really did not want to hear me.  He had his own way of dealing with his grief .  I felt the need to help my husband understand what was going on with me and I sensed that my son wanted him to be more open spiritually.  I will mention that my husband it a detective sergeant in the police department very intelligent and logical. 

I asked my son to help me help his father.  For some unexplained reason I felt that if I video taped or took photos around me when I felt his energy that he would be there. 

His spirit shows up in every single video as a pure and very bright light source either in orb form or as a concentrated light ( tiny ) his light travels in a consistent pattern.  I have two videos where the light is trying to manifest into form.  The others are all similar , but in different locations throughout my home, outside or a relatives home . 

I cannot explain why or how this is happening.  I can tell you that these visual sightings bring a sense of peace and healing.  I have shown my husband.  He does not understand it, nor can he explain it.  I have made videos with family members as witnesses and it is very emotional to experience. 

I feel like this is a gift from my teenage son.  Just letting us know he is around at times watching over the family.
