Experience description:  

My twin sister contacted me about one month after she passed. I was in my room crying and she appeared to me in a beautiful white light. She told me that I had to go on with my life, that there were things in my life that had to be done. She told me that she loved me, and that when I passed on she would be there to take my hand. then she was gone. She looked like an angel.

Details of location of experience and your activity at the time of experience:  The night that she died I woke up screaming that something terrible had happened to my sister. I immediately called my mom and she told me that she had just passed on. no one new she was sick. the second time we communicated was about one month after she passed. I was in my room crying and I looked up and Roslee was standing in front of me in a bright light, dressed in white. She told me that I needed to go on with my life, that there were things that I needed to do and that she would be there when I passed on to take my hand. she told me she loved me, and then she was gone. this visit helped save my life because I felt that I could not go one without my twin. I was almost suicidal.

Was this experience difficult to express in words?  No  It saved my life

Did you ONLY sense an awareness of presence of the deceased without actually seeing, hearing, feeling or smelling them?            No

Did you hear the deceased or hear something associated with the deceased?          Yes

            Describe what you heard, how clearly you heard it and what was communicated:    what she said to me was clear and direct.

            Did the voice or sound seem to originate externally or outside of you, inside you, or did you not hear a voice or sound, but had a sense of knowing what was communicated?  She talked to me

            If you heard a voice or sound, was it similar or dissimilar from the voice or sound the deceased made when they were alive?           It was her voice.

            Is there any possibility what you heard was from any other source present in the surroundings at the time of your experience?           NO!

            Was there any possible impairment to your hearing at the time of the experience?   NO!

Did you feel a touch or experience any physical contact from the deceased?            Yes

I was in the light with her.

            Was the touch familiar or unfamiliar?   beautiful is the only way to describe it

            Was anything communicated by the touch?  that she was there and she was beautiful and angelic

            Is there any possibility what you felt was from any other source present in the surroundings at the time of your experience?  NO!

Did you see the deceased?         Yes

She was in a white light and looked more beautiful than I have ever seen her

            How clearly did the deceased appear?            clearer than anything I have ever seen

            How much of the deceased did you see?       her whole person

            Did the deceased appear or not appear to be the age at which they died?       same age

            How healthy did the deceased appear to be?            she looked absolutely wonderful

Did you smell a distinct smell, scent, fragrance or odor associated with the deceased?      No

How long did the experience last?        about 2 minutes

Was the beginning and end of the experience gradual or more sudden?         I looked up and she was in front of me and when she left she faded away. Like the energy , the light faded

Could you sense the emotions or mood of the deceased?           Yes

straight LOVE

Did the deceased give you information you did not previously know?  that I would do good things in my life and I had to go on.

How do you currently view the reality of your experience?           Experience was definitely real

            Please explain why you view the reality of your experience as real or not real:           My sister (twin) came to save my life. She knew that I needed her.

            Was the experience dream like in any way?   No

Describe in detail your feelings/emotions during the experience:           I only felt love. MY sister and I were almost as one and she was more close to me than I can explain twins are closer than other family members. They are connected, mind and body and soul-Identical twins

Was there any emotional healing in any way following the experience?           Yes

She gave me the will to live

What was the best and worst part of your experience?      I have missed my twin sister, and my best friend

Has your life changed specifically as a result of your experience?         Yes                 Describe:      I love life and look forward to every day that I am blessed with

Did you have any changes of attitudes or beliefs following the experience?   Yes     life and death are beautiful. Live life and make a difference

Did the experience give you any spiritual understandings such as life, death, afterlife, God, etc.?            Yes     we all have a purpose that needs to be fulfilled.

Death Compacts are when two or more living people promise among themselves that whoever dies first will try to contact the other(s).  Have you ever made such a compact?        No

I never thought in a million years that she would not live and be in my life- we were twins we are suppose to live our lives together

Did you observe or hear anything regarding people or events during your experience that could be verified later?          Just the fact that I am still alive-she saved my life

What emotions did you feel during the experience?            I knew I had to go on, and I know that when I leave this world, she will be waiting for me

Was the experience witnessed or experienced by others?           No

Did you have any sense of altered space or time?   No

Did you have a sense of knowing, special knowledge, universal order and/or purpose?    Yes

I will go on to help people that live in the pain and suffering of drug addiction.

Did you become aware of future events?       Yes

Did you have any psychic, paranormal or other special gifts following the experience that you did not have prior to the experience?         Yes

I lost contact with her children and she guided me to them. I am now involved in there lives and am helping the youngest one with his addiction issues

Did you experience a separation of your consciousness from your body?     No

Did you meet or see any other beings other than the deceased?            No

Did you see a light?           Yes

the brightest light, the whitest light I have ever seen

Did any part of your experience seem to occur in a place other than the location described above?            No

Have you shared this experience with others?         Yes     They do not understand

Have you shared this experience formally or informally with any other researcher or web site?   No

 Is there anything else you would like to add regarding your experience?       life is about loving, not judging

Were there any associated medications or substances with the potential to affect the experience?            No   I was totally aware of my surroundings

Following the experience, have you had any other events in your life, medications or substances which reproduced any part of the experience?    No 

Did you ever in your life have a near-death experience, out of body experience or other spiritual event?        I felt I was dying when my sister was dying
