My mom made it through the surgery, remarried a wonderful man, moved back to Florida (just as she'd always wanted to do) and then passed away about 2 1/2 years later.

            Describe what you heard, how clearly you heard it and what was communicated:   As described above, I heard my grandmothers voice over a phone in a dream.  She had a very distictive voice.

            Did the voice or sound seem to originate externally or outside of you, inside you, or did you not hear a voice or sound, but had a sense of knowing what was communicated?  Came throught the phone in the dream

            If you heard a voice or sound, was it similar or dissimilar from the voice or sound the deceased made when they were alive?           Exactly her voice.

How long did the experience last?        About 5 minutes, it was a pretty long conversation

Was the beginning and end of the experience gradual or more sudden?         sudden - I woke up as soon as the dream was over.

I felt her mood was very motherly

Did the deceased give you information you did not previously know?  Yes as listed above, she gave me information about my mom and that she would survive her current condition but would be gone from us within just a few years.  The dream was in May of 1989 and my Mom passed away in January of 1991.
