Experience description:

I woke up abruptly that morning because my husband was doing something to annoy me downstairs.There was my mother at the foot of the bed standing there looking at me and she said"that's just Edgar" and smiled. I was not upst or shocked at the momemt, but was waiting on her to say something else and she was gone! Then it hit me! Why didn't I speak to her? She was gone yet she was here with me in this room! Why didn't I spaek to her instead of just looking? I was so mad at myself.I think I was not used to her being gone I forgot she was gone and when i realized what had happened I was so happy and excited that I sat there hoping she would come back, she did not.

Was this experience difficult to express in words?  No

Did you hear the deceased or hear something associated with the deceased?          Yes

             Describe what you heard, how clearly you heard it and what was communicated:   She said " thats just Edgar"and smiled.

             Did the voice or sound seem to originate externally or outside of you, inside you, or did you not hear a voice or sound, but had a sense of knowing what was communicated?  i seemed to hear it from her.

             If you heard a voice or sound, was it similar or dissimilar from the voice or sound the deceased made when they were alive?           the same

             Is there any possibility what you heard was from any other source present in the surroundings at the time of your experience?           no

             Was there any possible impairment to your hearing at the time of the experience?   no

Did you see the deceased?         Yes, she was dressed just like she would have been at her hme, in a housecoat

            How clearly did the deceased appear?            very clear, mostly solid

            How much of the deceased did you see?       knees up, she was at the foot of my bed

            Did the deceased appear or not appear to be the age at which they died?       same age

            How healthy did the deceased appear to be?            she looked like before she got sick

            Is there any possibility what you saw was from any other source present in the surroundings at the time of your experience?           no

Did you smell a distinct smell, scent, fragrance or odor associated with the deceased?      No

How long did the experience last?        about 20-30 seconds

Was the beginning and end of the experience gradual or more sudden?         sudden

 Could you sense the emotions or mood of the deceased?           Yes, she seemed happy giving mom instructions........

How do you currently view the reality of your experience?           Experience was definitely real

             Please explain why you view the reality of your experience as real or not real:          I know it was real, i saw her I heard her and got the feelings in my heart.

             Was the experience dream like in any way?   No

 Describe in detail your feelings/emotions during the experience:           i felt very relaxed and calm and so heppy to see her..

Was there any emotional healing in any way following the experience?           Yes

I now know that there is life after death and my mother crossed many boundries to come to me.

What was the best and worst part of your experience?      the best was seeing her come to me, ad worst was realizing that she was gone from my world.

Has your life changed specifically as a result of your experience?         Yes

            Describe:      it affected my realitionship with my husband, I am now more tolerant

What emotions did you feel during the experience?            i cried when i figured out that she was really gone from this word and she came to see me to save my marriage.
