Just got in from work (I was working/living in Israel at the time). Was sharing a hostel with friends, just been chatting whilst laying in our beds, then we just relaxed. I was just looking at nothing much, I remember vaguely looking at a big clock in the room then all of a sudden I felt/sensed my granddad there in front of me, about 3 meters away by the clock, I smelt his house (although I have a very poor sense of smell), he was suddenly darting around the room I felt saying 'what has happened to me?','what's happening'. He was panicking. I could feel his thoughts and emotions, we could communicate through our minds. I instantly knew he'd just died and told him through my head that he wasn't to worry, he had just died. I told him that everybody was waiting for him on the other side and go towards the light, I told him he needed to move on and not to be afraid I just didn't know what else to say, I wanted him to calm down and give him some words of advice on what to do). He then just disappeared, although I couldn't 'see' him, I knew where he was in the room before he 'went'. I felt quite comforted. I then turned round to my friend and told her my granddad had just died and he was just here in the room in front of me. Next day, rang mum in the UK because of this, she said he had died the day before. I knew he was ill but not on his death bed, we weren't even close! He died the same time this happened to when working out the time difference. Sorry I can't put this into words easy.

Knowing he was suddenly there in front of me, knew where he was in the room but couldn't physically see him, talking with him through my mind and feeling his feelings and thoughts...weird!

Could you sense the emotions or mood of the deceased?           Yes

This was the weirdest bit......yes I could sense his moods and emotions SO well, we communicated through the head, could feel exactly what he was feeling and emotions.....really overwhelmingly.

Did the deceased give you information you did not previously know?  That he had just died.

How do you currently view the reality of your experience?           Experience was definitely real

            Please explain why you view the reality of your experience as real or not real:           It was overwhelming, rang my mum in the UK the next day because of this, he had died the same time in the UK.

            Was the experience dream like in any way?   No

Describe in detail your feelings/emotions during the experience:           Took it as just 'natural', wanted to calm him down. But it wasn't scary or anything just a natural occurrence.
