I was sitting in my chair and relaxing listening to Yanna on Cd, out of nowhere my grandmother dressed in a dress of multiple bright brilliant colors walked with me in a meadow full of wild flowers... The light that surround her and the beauty was so much words can not describe how I felt... I saw her swirling as a girl would dance a May dance.

Did you see the deceased?        

Yes.  my gram looked light and joyful  not crippled and heavy with pain

            How clearly did the deceased appear?            very clear as if I could touch them

            How much of the deceased did you see?       upper body on my husband   and all on my gram

            Did the deceased appear or not appear to be the age at which they died?       my husband , yes   my gram No she looked old, but youthful   boy does that make sense huh???

            How healthy did the deceased appear to be?            Don looked tired,   Gram looked like she was joyful and not suffering from any pain

            Is there any possibility what you saw was from any other source present in the surroundings at the time of your experience?           NO

Could you sense the emotions or mood of the deceased?          

Yes

Don was sad, but  resigned:  Gram was smiling

How do you currently view the reality of your experience?          

Experience was definitely real

Both experiences left me feeling closer to them..

            Was the experience dream like in any way?  

No

I just felt peace to know when I pass they will meet me there

Was there any emotional healing in any way following the experience?          

Yes

just accepting change,  knowing that I don't need to rush to meet them, when its my time they will be there to greet me

What was the best and worst part of your experience?     

Best was the feeling of love,   The worst, wishing it happened everyday and night...

Has your life changed specifically as a result of your experience?        

Yes

More willing to communicate with those I love and care about... I feel like my purpose to be here for friends and family that develop cancer... I have had 4 friends since my husband died that have had cancer and while I don't caregiver like I did with my husband,  I certainly am a sounding board for the families and advocate for the patient...

Yes

My girlfriend and I have promised to come back and play a music box for each other

I sometimes can know things about people, but if its a gift or just reading peoples body language I don't know

Every night for 6 months after my husband passed as I would drift off to sleep It was like I looked down a tube and all these faces would come flying at me...

talking, but I couldn't hear anything, and not reaching for me, but pleading through their eyes for me to do something... never did find out and the faces were always different...so it wasn't a repeat type dream

Whether, as many grief books say about, grief causing visions, or that the mind tricks us  I know what I felt and saw is real... and if not so be it  I will find out when its my turn
