Experience description:

My feelings weren't actually of sadness, but an intense barrage of anxiety that my mother conveyed to me. I didn't actually see her physical form. I felt the presence of my mother come in to the room like when you were a kid and she walks in to wake you. It doesn't startle you it just gives you a warm, loving feeling. I remember she told me to wake up, not in a verbal command, but telepathic. My eyes opened and I saw a body of energy floating at my side. At that same  point the feeling went from warm to pure unexplainable anguish. I didn't find out why I felt this way until 11:30pm that night and the feelings lasted all that day. That was a bad day!

I have had more than one visitation over the last three years from my mother since her death. The visits happen when I'm usually in a transitional stage of astral travel. I would be interested in any feedback your researchers might have.

This is a bit unusual to meet a deceased loved one during astral travel.  While it does happen it is a bit rare.  Generally, the deceased usually appears and then they go about their business.  You might like to ask her the next time you see her if being brutally murdered might have kept her from being able to move on after going to the other side
- Jody.

Yes

Describe what you heard, how clearly you heard it and what was communicated:

It was not audible just telepathic. I was told to "Wake Up".  The fact is that this would not normally be possible because I usually slept in till 2:30pm on a Saturday and I sleep heavy.

Did the voice or sound seem to originate externally or outside of you, inside you, or did you not hear a voice or sound, but had a sense of knowing what was communicated?

Inside Me. I Heard my mother but telepathy isn't audible, its like a mental echo and then you receive the message.

Kind of distant and muffled but I could not ignore it or the feelings that came with the message.

Uncertain

I believe that at the time I didn't understand the feelings or the anxiety but by the end of the day I understood perfectly.

Did the deceased give you information you did not previously know?

she gave me information the last time I talked to her. The day we argued she told me she had just rewrote her will and added another $100,000 in life insurance. I told her I didn't care. And asked her why she was telling me. She said she told me she wanted me to no because I was the oldest of my siblings. I told her to shut up and said "your not going to die your still young" she joked and said she told me so I don't knock her off. I told her to shut up.

How do you currently view the reality of your experience?

Experience was definitely real

Please explain why you view the reality of your experience as real or not real:

Because if it only happen once I might think I was losing it but when it happens three months later and then four months after that then I know she is keeping tabs on me because I have moved across several state lines and she has continually visited me at every location. Most of these visits since the first have all been during an astral travel. sometimes she is already there when I'm leaving my physical body other times she meets me in other places.

Was there any emotional healing in any way following the experience?

Yes

yes, when I had to Identify her body a week later I got a little closure.

I don't know how to answer that.

Yes

I try to live a better life now.

Did the experience give you any spiritual understandings such as life, death, afterlife, God, etc.?

Yes, all of the above.

What emotions did you feel during the experience?

High levels of unexplainable anxiety. I could not figure it out so I went cliff diving in Sedona, AZ to take my mind off the feelings. It didn't work.

Was the experience witnessed or experienced by others?

Yes

My sister also had a separate experience on the same day but didn't know what or where the feelings were coming from.

Did you have a sense of knowing, special knowledge, universal order and/or purpose?

Yes

It's not Godlike but you do feel different when you can't express certain things that you have been through because people think you're weird and they get scared of what they don't understand. I felt this way before my mother died because I was struck by lightning when I was 18 while mountain climbing.

Did you become aware of future events?

Uncertain

A few re-occurring deja vus' have reassured me that I'm on the right track. The funny thing is some of these occurrences happen across state lines in Arizona and then I leave and they move with. They're like a check list.

Did you have any psychic, paranormal or other special gifts following the experience that you did not have prior to the experience?         No,

No I have had those gifts since I was 18.

Did you experience a separation of your consciousness from your body?

Uncertain

Not the first time but now I astral travel to see her when I miss her.

Did you meet or see any other beings other than the deceased?

Yes

One time I thought I saw my cousin Bradley with my mother in 2001. He drowned when I was 5.

Did you see a light?

Yes

Only when your about to leave your body. They usually come to watch you leave , kind of like a guide or maybe it's just their curiosity.

Did any part of your experience seem to occur in a place other than the location described above?

Yes

Not the first one but the other ones during astral travel do take place in different places on occasion.

Have you shared this experience with others?

Yes, I told my sister about it but not too in depth. After all I still didn't really have it all figured out.

Have you shared this experience formally or informally with any other researcher or web site?

No

Is there anything else you would like to add regarding your experience?

I just hope it can shed some light on some of the things that may have happened to others as they have happened to me, but they may have been scared to talk about it. It is real.

Were there any associated medications or substances with the potential to affect the experience?            No

Following the experience, have you had any other events in your life, medications or substances which reproduced any part of the experience?

No

Did you ever in your life have a near-death experience, out of body experience or other spiritual event?

Yes

I was hit by a dry lightning bolt meaning "no rain" on August 2, 1994 climbing a mountain at Watson Lake, Prescott,  AZ. I got hit in the head the lights went out and I left my body. A lot of information was taken from me = memory=empty space= refillable with choice information. A lot of questions were answered when I returned to my body about two minutes later. I didn't fear anything after that. Needless to say I didn't finish my High School Education. I had to start over.
