Experience description:

My earliest memory was just before birth and suddenly indescribable light and whirling around. Indescribable harmonious melody, peace, oneness with all. Communication was extremely fast like a vibrating buzzing sound within the all engulfing light and a total understanding of the purpose of the event. The event was moving so fast I asked to "please help me remember".

I am 70 years old now. Throughout my life the experience has continued through lucid dreaming and talking with deceased relatives. When I say "lucid dreaming" I mean "coherent" conversation with real people. I've spoken with my Mother with much apprehension because I knew she was dead. So I asked her, "Mother, you know you are dead don't you? She said "so...what's the difference?" She has talked with me about how she felt about my sister and me and the good times we had together. The lucid dreams always started with a ringing phone and she was on the other end. My Grandson died in an automobile accident at age twenty...killed instantly. He was a difficult child with many problems. I dreamed of a house and saw him walking out the door and he came toward me and took off his baseball cap and said "Grandma, I always knew you felt I wouldn't make much of myself (he had a sad look on his face) then I heard a familiar voice (my Mother's) say...."I'm home" and my Grandson turned and walked toward the house.

What ever happened to me was long, long ago but I will never forget the "feelings" which were indescribable and an indelible stamp on my soul. I've had many surgery's with anesthetics but I keep going back to my birth as the beginning of the experience and I distinctly remember asking to "please help me remember."
