Experience description:

The first experience in 1986 happened after the death of both my grandfathers, three weeks apart. They had both suffered long with terminal illnesses. While visiting my paternal grandfather, he described in detail Heaven as shown to him by God and wanted to go. I asked him that if God would allow it, for him to give me a sign that he arrived and was happy. A few weeks after his death, I was awoken by someone shaking me. It was my grandfather, standing next to my bed smiling. At that time I was shocked to see him and he slowly disappeared. My sister was awoken the same night in the same way, only she had a conversation with him. He later appeared while I was awake and tipped his hat to me as I left my grandmother's home one evening. After this encounter my intuitive abilities increased dramatically. I had an out of body experience shortly after that and saw my husband in a lounge with another woman. I was able to recount their entire conversation to him, including what she looked like and what they were wearing. He accused me of following him. My physical body was home in bed asleep, and the spirit part of me sat next to their table observing.

The experience in 1991 happened during an ugly custody battle and after finding my grandmother dead in her home while seven months pregnant with my first child. I had moved into my own home and felt very comfortable there. My 18 month old liked to go downstairs with me to do laundry. I would always go first and turn on the light, then he would descend on his tummy. Just after I flipped the light switch I heard him cry out and saw him tumbling head first down the stairs. I cried out "Dear God help me!" and witnessed my son suspended in mid-air by one leg, the rest of his body dangling. He arched his back to look up at who had hold of him. I was there with my arms out to catch him, but a few more seconds passed before he was gently placed in my arms. I was totally awake at this time. Months later, while asleep, I watched myself personally handing my child to Jesus and felt the love and peace as I did so. I still remember the look in His eyes and the color of the white light that surrounded Him. It was like nothing I have ever seen before or can really describe.

The experience of 1997 was a year after a second marriage and the birth of my second child. My anger from the continued lies started more frequent out of body experiences in which I could follow him without leaving my home. He accused me of hiring a private investigator to discover his involvement with prostitutes.

The experiences in 2002 were during my father's frequent hospital visits and surgeries. He is now in the final stage of heart disease and nothing more can be done for him.

The experience of 2005 happened last night. While in my body, I have always been afraid of heights. But enjoy the out of body ability to fly about and above trees if I choose without fear. I was flying about the city enjoying the blooming trees and flowers but was being drawn against my will to my former husband's apartment. There was a light on in the window and was heading toward it. I did not want to see him or what was going there and a battle ensued between my body and spirit. I awoke with uncontrollable tremors and pain in both of my legs and felt intense fear throughout my entire body. It lasted for several minutes afterward.

Any associated medications or substances with the potential to affect the experience?

No

Was the kind of experience difficult to express in words?

No

At the time of this experience, was there an associated life threatening event?

No       Not with me. Family members.

What was your level of consciousness and alertness during the experience?           I felt completely conscious, but obviously am not able to fly around town while awake. Was asleep.

Was the experience dream like in any way?

No. I have never been able to remember dreams. They all seem really stupid and make no sense. The memory fades within minutes of waking.

Did you experience a separation of your consciousness from your body?

No

What emotions did you feel during the experience?

Freedom at first. Then the speed of flying increased to an uncomfortable out of control pace. I didn't feel in control like all of the other times before.

Did you hear any unusual sounds or noises?

Just traffic sounds, the wind in my ears and the sound of my leg tremors when I awoke.

LOCATION DESCRIPTION:  Did you recognize any familiar locations or any locations from familiar religious teachings or encounter any locations inhabited by incredible or amazing creatures?

Yes            Ex-husband's home. My home. City where I live.

Did you see a light?

Yes     Just traffic lights, car headlights, businesses and homes. The one experience involving my child in 1991 and handing him to Christ the light was like no other and hard to describe the color. It was bright but you could sense it could be much brighter. It also felt warm. Not hot, but comforting like favorite blanket or a hug from your children.

Did you meet or see any other beings?

Yes     In the past, I have seen my deceased Grandfather twice, heard the voice of God while totally awake, seen His Son and have felt the fear/presence of the evil one. When I am extremely frightened, it is always felt in the front of my legs/shins and then it expands to the rest of my body.

Did you experiment while out of the body or in another, altered state?

Yes

Was able to observe cheating husband at work and home. Always just observed, never tried to move objects.

Did you observe or hear anything regarding people or events during your experience that could be verified later?

Yes     They thought I was having them followed and told me so. All of my immediate family members were always told of any encounters/experiences I have had. My mother and sister also share some of these abilities.

Did you notice how your 5 senses were working, and if so, how were they different?

Yes     I could see, feel, hear and smell just the same as always.

Did you have any sense of altered space or time?

Yes     I felt just like me, going wherever I wanted, just faster through flight.

Did you have a sense of knowing, special knowledge, universal order and/or purpose?

Yes            Intuition. I can feel what others are feeling. Read them like a book.

Did you reach a boundary or limiting physical structure?

Yes     Last night's experience caused an internal conflict because I felt I did not want to see what was there and was being forced to. I did not cross the boundary to see it.

Did you become aware of future events?

Yes     The deaths of my grandparents before the fact. I feel in the pit of my stomach that a traumatic event is about to happen. Sometimes I am aware of who or what will be involved.

Were you involved in or aware of a decision regarding your return to the body?

No       Did you have any psychic, paranormal or other special gifts following the experience that you did not have prior to the experience?
   Yes     Intuitive. Heard God's voice.

Did you have any changes of attitudes or beliefs following the experience?

Yes     Greater belief and closer relationship with God.

How has the experience affected your relationships? Daily life? Religious practices? Career choices?

More appreciative of time together. Avoid environments and people who are negative.

Has your life changed specifically as a result of your experience?         Yes     Lead a life to serve God. Avoid people/things I feel uncomfortable with.

Have you shared this experience with others?         Yes     All family and friends.

What emotions did you experience following your experience?  Some involved comfort, some intense fear.

What was the best and worst part of your experience?      There have been several different types of experiences. Comfort was the best and intense fear that grips your entire body is the worst.

Is there anything else you would like to add concerning the experience?        Just that I had many different types of experiences and believe that they are all connected somehow and hard to separate one from the other.

Following the experience, have you had any other events in your life, medications or substances which reproduced any part of the experience?         No

Did the questions asked and information you provided accurately and comprehensively describe your experience?               Yes     I have had several types of experiences. All different. Out of body, seeing or feeling those who have passed on. Hearing God's voice. Feeling others pain or joy. Knowing good and evil by meeting them personally. The information given is true and accurate.

Please offer any suggestions you may have to improve this questionnaire.    Design one for those who experience types, paranormal as well as out of body as I have.
