Experience description:

I was in the shower after a long two days following moms passing. Eyes closed, washing my hair. I heard "Tina" in a distant like voice. It had a hint of panic to it. Mom was only 61 and had so much anxiety about death. I have some people that love with me so I thought it might've been them but my door was still locked and I asked if they had come in and they said no. I know it was her. She was trying to reassure me. We grew up in a terribly dysfunctional household and I have always carried the weight. I am Catholic so naturally I was worried about her soul. It kind of worries me that there was a hint of panic in her voice but she always did have such bad anxiety. I pray for her multiple times a day and I hope she has made it to His side.

 Was this experience difficult to express in words?          No

 Did you hear the deceased or hear something associated with the deceased?          Yes

             Describe what you heard, how clearly you heard it and what was communicated:    She said my name just "Tina" very clear. Kind of distant.

             Did the voice or sound seem to originate externally or outside of you, inside you, or did you not hear a voice or sound, but had a sense of knowing what was communicated?            Outside. Like she was in the kitchen while I was in the shower.

             If you heard a voice or sound, was it similar or dissimilar from the voice or sound the deceased made when they were alive?           Very similar.

             Is there any possibility what you heard was from any other source present in the surroundings at the time of your experience?           No. No one had been in the house. All of the roommates said they were not in the house

             Was there any possible impairment to your hearing at the time of the experience?            Nothing but the water of the shower but it was very clear

 Did you feel a touch or experience any physical contact from the deceased? No

 Did you see the deceased?         No

 Did you smell a distinct smell, scent, fragrance or odor associated with the deceased?      No

 How long did the experience last?        A split second

 Was the beginning and end of the experience gradual or more sudden?         Super sudden

 Could you sense the emotions or mood of the deceased?           No

 Did the deceased give you information you did not previously know?  No

 How do you currently view the reality of your experience?           Experience was definitely real

             Please explain why you view the reality of your experience as real or not real:           It was clear as day. My name.

             Was the experience dream like in any way?   No

 Describe in detail your feelings/emotions during the experience:           I was at peace like I knew she was there she was ok.

 Was there any emotional healing in any way following the experience?           Yes

 What was the best and worst part of your experience?      Best part was hearing her. Worst part was not being able to ask if she was ok and if she made it.

 Has your life changed specifically as a result of your experience?         No      

Did you observe or hear anything regarding people or events during your experience that could be verified later?     No

What emotions did you feel during the experience?            Happy. At peace.
