The recently departed use to come to me and I knew it was real. But  didn't talk about it much. Now it's happened to my 14 year old daughter. But what she told me came to unbelievable reality just hours after she told me about it!!!!!

My wife died when our daughter, Kiely was only 16 months old. She came to me afterwards. But that's not my story.

My mother-in-law (daughter's grandmother) just died on Jan 3rd, 2010. On Jan 4th she came in a dream to my daughter. Still not the main part of this, but important. Kiely came in and woke me up and said her Nana visited her in her dream. Long story short. A doorway with a light behind it. Her Nana and her mother standing next to it with other people she didn't  recognize also standing there. Some walking through it. But Nana and mom staying there.

The next morning (the day of Nana's funeral), Kiely came running into my room and woke me up again. She said she had another dream. This time Nana was there and said she had something special to give her.  They sat down a man handed her an envelope. She opened it and inside was 2 red and blue cards. Then she woke up and came into me. We got  dressed and went to the funeral. A Boston Irish catholic funeral. A few hours later, we buried her next to my wife in an old Boston cemetery. Later at the reception, my father-in-law approached me (not the best of relationships in my life), and said he was looking through old papers the  night before and came across this. He handed me a white envelope with my  wife's name on it. "Here, see if you can do anything with these." I opened it. And to my absolute astonishment was Red and blue savings bonds!!!  In my wife's name. The face value on all of them $9550.00!!!

When we got in the car I handed Kiely the white envelope. Her eyes opened. She looked inside and her mouth dropped open. She said "Is  this like how your dreams use to come true too Dad?" I said, yes but even more so!!  We are just getting by on VA and social security. And I had just extended my last credit card to buy the plane tickets. So when we took them to the bank and they said the bonds are matured and actually worth $50,000.00 it was quite a shock! Almost all of it will go into an education fund for my daughter. I'm sure her Nana wanted it that way. Especially since she came into my daughter's dream in such a way!!!!!!

How do you currently view the reality of your experience?           Experience was definitely real

            Please explain why you view the reality of your experience as real or not real:           My dream turned into physical reality only hours later!!!!!

            Was the experience dream like in any way?   Yes

It was a dream but it felt real.

Was there any emotional healing in any way following the experience?           Yes  I knew she was happy and could breath easy again.

Has your life changed specifically as a result of your experience?         Yes                   My dad and I are closer. And relief that there is some education funds waiting for me.
