When I was 20 years old, my father suffered a perforated stomach due to an ulcer. At that time, as the pain he felt was acute, we took him to the hospital, where they tried to help him, but unfortunately, he died.

The fact is that when he died, I felt great anguish because I didn't know if he was fine, or if he simply had ceased to exist. Let's remember that I was 20 years old, and did not have the experience or knowledge I possess today.

During his funeral, I remember that when they were lowering the coffin in the burial site, my feeling of anguish grew even more and I asked him a question in my mind, and that question was whether he was okay, and if he could let me know.

That night, when I laid down to sleep, I had a dream in which I was in a forest and in front of me, there was a row of big trees and suddenly, my father came out from behind one of them, dressed exactly as when he was buried. I remember mentally asking him how he was, and he responded with gestures, as if to say that it was okay for me to be calm, and he went back behind the tree and at that precise moment, I woke up.

To this day, that memory accompanies me every day of my life and alleviates my anguish, since death is not the end of everything.

Cuando tenia 20 años de edad, mi padre sufrió una perforación estomacal producto de una ulcera. En ese momento como su dolor era muy fuerte lo llevamos al hospital, donde trataron de auxiliarlo pero lamentablemente falleció.

El caso es que al fallecer yo sentía una gran angustia porque no sabia si él estaba bien o si simplemente dejo de existir y ya, recordemos que tenia 20 años y no tenia la experiencia ni conocimientos de hoy día.

Durante de su sepelio, recuerdo que cuando estaban bajando el ataúd en el lugar donde esta enterrado me creció aun mas el sentimiento de angustia y le hice una pregunta de forma mental, y esa pregunta era si estaba bien y que si pudiera me lo hiciera saber.

Esa noche al acostarme a dormir, tuve un sueño en el que estaba en un bosque y frente de mi había una hilera de grandes arboles y de repente detrás de uno de ellos salió mi padre, exactamente vestido como fue enterrado. Recuerdo que le pregunte mentalmente como estaba y el me respondió con gestos como diciendo que estaba bien que me quedara tranquilo, y se volvió a meter detrás del árbol y en ese preciso momento desperté.

Hasta el día de hoy ese recuerdo me acompaña todos los días de mi vida y me alivia la angustia de que la muerte no es el final de todo.
