Experience description:

I was lying on my bed for an afternoon rest. I was moderately drowsy but not asleep when my deceased husband crawled onto the bed and very very gently slid one arm underneath me and the other around me and ever so carefully pulled me into his body to hold me the way he often did when he was alive.

Two days later, I was once again lying on the bed for an afternoon rest. This time I had an eye patch on to minimize the light. I was resting deeply but not close to sleeping. Out of no where this incredible burst of colorful energy, yellow in nature , poured into and around me. Like an explosive firework blossom, electric in nature and oh so heavenly in its delight. It was so incredibly ecstatic that I felt a part of me respond by sending out an orange burst of energy. The two colors merged in a starburst that was so riveting i cannot even begin to explain the level of ecstasy that i was experiencing. The closest comparison would be that it was like a physical orgasm but spiritual in nature and so much more intensely delightful. I have never felt anything close to that . When it was done, lasting maybe a total of 15 seconds, I joking said out loud 'Wow. You've been holding on me'.

 Was this experience difficult to express in words?     Yes

 energetic in nature but physical in affect

 Did you ONLY sense an awareness of presence of the deceased without actually seeing, hearing, feeling or smelling them?         

No

 Did you hear the deceased or hear something associated with the deceased?   No

 Did you feel a touch or experience any physical contact from the deceased?   Yes

 The first time i was held. the second time i was non physically fused with his essence energy

            Was the touch familiar or unfamiliar? familiar

           Was anything communicated by the touch? love , powerful love

            Is there any possibility what you felt was from any other source present in the surroundings at the time of your experience?      no. but i did hear anything

 Did you see the deceased?       Yes

 HE looked like a younger version of himself and slightly blurred

            How clearly did the deceased appear?            very

            How much of the deceased did you see?       all of him

            Did the deceased appear or not appear to be the age at which they died? younger

            How healthy did the deceased appear to be?           very healthy

            Is there any possibility what you saw was from any other source present in the surroundings at the time of your experience?       no

 Did you smell a distinct smell, scent, fragrance or odor associated with the deceased?       No

 How long did the experience last?      the first one about 10 seconds. The second one about 15 seconds

 Was the beginning and end of the experience gradual or more sudden?          gradual

 Could you sense the emotions or mood of the deceased?         Yes

 total love and caring

 Did the deceased give you information you did not previously know? no

 How do you currently view the reality of your experience?          Experience was definitely real

           Please explain why you view the reality of your experience as real or not real:   It was a profound impression upon all my senses except for the auditory channel

           Was the experience dream like in any way?  No Response

 Describe in detail your feelings/emotions during the experience:          relaxed but of course sad. I had just unexpectedly lost my soul mate of 45 years

 Was there any emotional healing in any way following the experience?          Yes

 I felt like it had just eaten a meal after being very hungry

 What was the best and worst part of your experience?    There was no worse part of the experience while they happened. However I would note that a month or so later, having had no further contact, I felt greedy for another experience of him and that desire caused me some turmoil

 Has your life changed specifically as a result of your experience?      No         

Did you have any changes of attitudes or beliefs following the experience? No

 Have you shared this experience with others?       Yes    Those i am close to that i shared with were in awe and believed it because they said it made sense given how much he adored me
