I was due to have minor ortho-surgery the next morning. I had already had 4 joint replacements, and I went to bed thinking that when I woke up after anesthesia this time, his would not be the first face I saw. Sometime in the middle of the night, I woke up feeling unusually cold. I put my hand out and felt his body in bed with me in his accustomed spot. I said "You're back."  He answered, "Yes." It was like he had been away on a business trip. I felt his body beside me for a short while and then I went back to sleep. This experience comforted me greatly. Without a doubt I know he was there.
