Entered home having an estate sale by the adult children of deceased parents. Home built early 1970's with little to no updates of the dark brown carpet and dark paneling.  So I started my shopping downstairs. The 1st room was a small empty bedroom with a swag lamp. So I turned around and went to the 2nd room. A male voice said to me... 'Go back', again said 'Go, back'.  It didn't scare me, wondered who and where was this voice coming from. Did I trip an automatic recorder.  No! So I spoke to the voice and said there is nothing in that room, and repeated what I said, ‘there is nothing in that room.’ There were a few other shoppers around but no one seems to hear what I heard. I went into the 3rd room and the male voice said in a deeper stern voice ‘GO BACK’, GO BACK’.  OK, so I went back to the 1st bedroom and looked around and still nothing. Oh, I forgot to open the closet door. Nothing in the closet. As I was walking out from my peripheral vision on the left side I spotted something.  At the top of the wall where it meets the ceiling was a sign, 'What the hell are you looking up here for'.  It was faded yellowed wooden frame. A young man (son) asked if I wanted it.  It was nailed to the wall on both sides.  I told the young man what had just happened and he said my dad was a prankster. I said so am I.  My only regret was not asking if anyone (adult children) had a voice mail of their dad’s voice so I could compare. This was a first for me.
