Experience description:

My son had a Nick Name that many called him. It was 'Snap'. However I never called him that. I called him Sean or Seanie Pecanie. My son had made a friend in another state while he was living there homeless. After his death, this friend, a woman, has contacted me via Facebook message to check and see how I am doing. I have never even heard her actual voice. After his passing, she has on several occasions messaged me and said she had contact with several psychics who had told her more info about his death. I asked her to provide me with the links to the psychics and she did.

Several months after my son died, I began hearing an unusual sound in my room that I couldn't identify.  I thought maybe it was a wild night animal in the attic or something, but it was quite an unusual sound.

One of these nights, as I lay there in bed looking at Facebook, occasionally hearing the sound, I decided to open one of the links to one of the psychics.  It was a live feed that she was doing at the time. I watched for a few minutes and then decided I didn't want to watch any longer and clicked off to play a word game on my phone instead.

Just when I did, my son's friend messaged me on Facebook messenger.  She said she just wanted to share something with me. She said she had just been watching a live feed with a psychic and the psychic suddenly got frustrated and said 'Ok I'll say it. I'll say it.' Then the psychic reported 'I'm seeing a young man snapping his fingers, snapping his fingers. Then the young man says 'Tell my mom that's what she is hearing'

Wow! This was so amazing! I then realized the sound I was hearing was the sound of snapping fingers. I previously couldn't relate the sound as human as I could not see anything. I then had to prove to myself it was real. I had every message this woman friend had ever sent me so I checked every message and I had never even told her that I was hearing anything in my room.

After that event, I no longer heard the sound in my room anymore. It was like the purpose had been fulfilled and the sound was no longer necessary.

           Is there any possibility what you heard was from any other source present in the surroundings at the time of your experience?   No

           Was there any possible impairment to your hearing at the time of the experience?   No

 Did you feel a touch or experience any physical contact from the deceased?         No

 Did you see the deceased?       No

 Did you smell a distinct smell, scent, fragrance or odor associated with the deceased? No

 Could you sense the emotions or mood of the deceased?          Yes

 How do you currently view the reality of your experience?          Experience was definitely real

           Please explain why you view the reality of your experience as real or not real:   Sound was there and I was totally awake. The person who shared the info from watching the psychic had no idea I was even hearing a sound.

           Was the experience dream like in any way?  No

 Describe in detail your feelings/emotions during the experience:  Excited, joyful and great to know he is with me.

 Was there any emotional healing in any way following the experience? Yes

 Happy that he is still here and he is happy

 What was the best and worst part of your experience?          Best is that it happened.

Did the experience give you any spiritual understandings such as life, death, afterlife, God, etc.?  Yes    Everything is energy and energy never dies. It just changes form.

I knew my son was going to die the night he died and his death was unexpected and not a suicide. We were texting and his text to me which said 'I wish I was rich like dad. Instead I'm rich in heart, way better. Like you'. I knew he was going to die that night. It was like seeing a movie for the second time and you know what comes next. As soon as he sent me that text, I became numb all over and in my mind I said to myself 'This is it. This is the steps to the end. He is dying tonight.'
