Experience description:
My
father passed from suicide when I was 4 years old. I didn’t find out the cause
of his death until I was in high school.
When I was 7-8 I had an experience where my father came to me while I was asleep
and took me out of my body and into a beautiful field full of flowers of all
colors. All I can remember is holding hands and walking through what was the
most spectacular field I have ever seen. I remember feeling so loved and
protected.
I
didn’t question the experience that much as a child as children are naturally
more connected to the non-physical. I didn’t think about it again until I became
an adult. But I know it was definitely a real experience because I remember
coming back in through my bedroom window into my body.
I asked
an energy healer about it a few years back and she connected with his spirit and
said it was my father showing me what it feels like to have a father's love.
