Two weeks before my best friend/lover died, two
Doves made a nest in one of my hanging balcony planters just two feet from my
front door. Very unusual place to build nest. I have many photos. Soon after the
mama dove laid two eggs. Rene and I were quickly enchanted by these lovely birds
because, well, doves are mates for life.
Have you had multiple experiences?
Yes Countless from my father who died 14 years ago
and at least half dozen thus far from my boyfriend who died April 16, 2017.
Was this experience difficult to express in words?

deceased without actually seeing, hearing, feeling or smelling them?

Did you see the deceased?
YesI saw him in a dream on the evening after
his death. He looked younger.
How clearly did the deceased appear?
Solid.
How much of the deceased did you see?
He was in car behind wheel. So waist up as I was in
my car coming to see him but there was no place for me to park. He indicated to
me through hand gesture that there was no room for me. It wasn't my time. I was
to return home. I was very very sad in my dream. Days after that dream, during
the darkest days of my initial grief when I was truly suicidal, I understood
what his true meaning in that dream.
Did the deceased appear or not appear to be the age
at which they died?
Definitely younger. His hair was dark, not grey!
How healthy did the deceased appear to be?
Extremely healthy.
Is there any possibility what you saw was from any
other source present in the surroundings at the time of your experience?
No
Did you smell a distinct smell, scent, fragrance or
odor associated with the deceased? No
How long did the experience last?
Multiple experiences. Dove touching me was seconds.
Was the beginning and end of the experience gradual
or more sudden?
Sudden.
Could you sense the emotions or mood of the
deceased? No
How do you currently view the reality of your
experience? Experience was definitely real

Was the experience dream like in any way?
No
Describe in detail your feelings/emotions during
the experience: With the dove wing tap, I felt
frightened and then scared for the bird then distraught that one of the baby
chicks was missing.

following the experience? Yes
My grief is still happening but I feel more at
peace because I know Rene is still with me.
What was the best and worst part of your
experience? Knowing my Rene is safe and happy and
at peace and committed to me just as much after death as when he was alive.

When I reviewed the footage and saw the time it
happened, I was elated, joyous, ecstatic. It was confirmation.

I have it on video. It was on my security video
surveillance footage. This is how I knew of the exact time it took place. The
date/time stamp in footage is on video.
