Experience description:

I had been up most of the night before because my blood pressure was above 170. I called my sister in the morning and we went to the local hospital. They took me to a room, hooked me up to blood pressure machine and maybe other things, but I don't remember. I was so tired. The bed I was in was lifted up so that I was almost sitting up. The doctor left. My sister was sitting at the foot of the bed. I closed my eyes and nodded only to quickly jerk up.  I did that three more times. The last time I found myself in a different place. It was calm and peaceful and loving. I was a part of this wonderful amber/yellow light that was everything. I was alone, without a body. I didn't hear any sound. I heard my voice thinking, 'I Love it here, I'm staying.' I felt like I was moving but didn't have a body. I didn't care about not having a body. I just felt so loved and at peace I couldn't imagine going back. Then in my mother's voice I heard her thoughts 'I love you.' (My mother passed in 2008).  I thought 'it's so wonderful to be here, I love you, I'm so happy to be with you.' I just continued moving in the amber/yellowness. Mother thought to me, ' you cannot stay here, I just wanted you to know I was okay and that you're okay, but you need to go back.' I did not respond, I just kept moving. I then thought 'I want to stay, it's so lovely.' Mom thought 'it's time for you to return, I love you.' I thought, 'I love you too.' Then I was sucked from the beautiful amber/yellow light and awakened in my body, shaking and looking right at my sister. I said asked her, 'did you see that?' She said, 'yes, now try to get some sleep.' I fell asleep. We never spoke about it.
