Experience description:

My 23 year old daughter died on September 26, 2008 weeks prior to this event.

I have gastro esophageal reflux disease and had gone to the doctor a week or two prior to this event and gotten medication.  I was looking forward to polishing off a bag of Doritos which is something I haven't been able to do for years.  I went to bed that night.  While sleeping I found myself in this place that looked like a slab of concrete with people and fog on it.  One woman, a short woman with short black hair glasses and black clothes and black hat came up to me and said 'your not suppose to be here'.  All of a sudden my daughter came down from the sky, she had wings.  I remember being so happy to see her when she grabbed me and started to push me away. I remember saying 'Jessica, why don't you want to see me'?  At the same moment I was saying this to her she was screaming 'no'!  Then she came up in the middle of my mattress and pushed me over so that I rolled over.  I woke up right then and there and started coughing up chunks of vomit from my lungs.  I had aspirated while sleeping.  I remember crying and saying why doesn't she want to see me.  I truly believed she saved my life and I think it was because I was raising her daughter and she had to make sure her daughter would be raised right.

What occurred during your experience included:   Content that was both consistent and not consistent with the beliefs you had at the time of your experience   This is a tuff one, hopefully I'm answering this right.  I have believed in God for decades prior to this.  I still believe and I know my daughter is safe, I miss her I can cry about her but I know she's happy.  I never have believed in church, always felt that there was too much corruption, I had no indication what so ever that I was wrong on that theory.  So I have continued not to have any belief or faith in churches.

How accurately do you remember the experience in comparison to other life events that occurred around the time of the experience?   I remember the experience more accurately than other life events that occurred around the time of the experience   I would say more because I can still remember that woman's face.

Discuss any changes that might have occurred in your life after your experience:   I'm on medication for my back that is an antidepression medication.  I have no fear what so ever now so my answers cannot be counted as truth.

My experience directly resulted in:   Large changes in my life

Did you have any changes in your values or beliefs after the experience that occurred as a result of the experience?
Uncertain   I never took the time to be nice to people before and since then I make a point of being nice to people, telling them what about them is amazing and you can always find something. I use to donate my last five dollars every week at the grocery store while raising my children alone before this happened because I felt that if you have something your extremely lucky and fortunate to have that so you should share it with others who need it.  So did things change for me, I don't know.  Am I more aware of my behavior, maybe.

Do you have any psychic, non-ordinary or other special gifts after your experience that you did not have before the experience?   No

Are there one or several parts of your experience that are especially meaningful or significant to you?
yes, my daughter is an Angel.

Have you ever shared this experience with others?
Yes  the next day

Did you have any knowledge of near death experience (NDE) prior to your experience?   Uncertain   I knew that people claimed they had it and watched stuff on tv but never really thought about it, I actually wished I could die to see what it was like.

What did you believe about the reality of your experience shortly (days to weeks) after it happened:   Experience was definitely real   How could it not be real.  I know it was real, I lived it.

What do you believe about the reality of your experience at the current time:   Experience was definitely real   How could it not be real.  I know it was real, I lived it.

Have your relationships changed specifically as a result of your experience?   Uncertain   I don't know if it was because of the experience or because my daughter died but my relationship with my other two daughters and my granddaughter whom I've raised and she is my daughter now are extremely important to me but I don't fear them dying as much as I did before all this.  It was major problem for me.  I've closed down some relationships that weren't healthy for me like my sister.  I can't or wont be bothered with it and really can't feel any remorse about it either.

Have your religious beliefs/spiritual practices changed specifically as a result of your experience?   Uncertain   I haven't changed my belief in God but I do believe that all the other religious gods that other countries and other religions believe are all the same entity.  I feel that I'm more of a Buddhist only because they are more peaceful but Budda and God are the same being.

Are there any other questions that we could ask to help you communicate your experience?              it seems perfect to me
