Experience description:
My dad got cancer and passed away in December 2023. I was devastated, heartbroken, crying everyday, thought I'd never recover then 2 months later in February 2024 I think my dad settled on the other side and my mom and I can see so he started coming through to both of us. He came through to my mom first. Then a week later when he came through to me I saw him clearly (in dream state), he was crying too and gave me a hug. From what he told me I think he reunited with his dad who died when my dad was very young. I also noticed he was missing his two feet.
I had read in Lorna Byrne's book, ANGELS IN MY HAIR, that when a person crosses over they get an approval after some time to come back to spend limited amount of time with their grieving family and that's exactly what happened. My dad came through from February to May. In May, my mom had dinner with him on the other side. She said my dad was cooking and my mom was eating. She could taste the food and all. Then after May, he started coming through on all the major holidays. Often times when he comes through we're seeing his environment. The other world is kind of like here. Different frequency but there's still physicality. He's eating, cooking, there's housing, there are stores (one time he came through he showed me a packaged item like something you'd find in a store but I don't think there's money), there's a beach nearby and he can see us very well down to all the details. On his first year memorial, I wrote a one page letter and set it out on his desk then spanning over several days he responded to my letter through my mom! When we celebrated his birthday spring of last year blowing out candles and all I think my dad was very happy about that because he came through to me the next day. My dad and I were walking inside a big library. Felt like a university library but bigger, shelves were very tall. It felt very modern inside. My sister can't see but we know he's watching over her just the same (she in another state). Beginning of last year, we figured out my dad was working behind the scenes to help her out of a jam kind of like in the movie Ghost (1990). He's coming and going too!
This year, he hasn't come through on the holidays second time around but he's still coming through to us. Earlier this year, he came through to my mom the day before my sister's birthday. My mom said they were taking a hot spring bath together. Then the following month he came through to me and I saw him lounging inside the house! Felt to me like he’s here hanging around with us very often. I exchanged some words with him too. I saw him clearly and heard his voice very clearly. Most recently he came through to my mom the day before her birthday and she said younger version of our family was having a dinner together. I now feel assured that he's with us in spirit and that death doesn't weaken family bond.

the very first time he came through he gave me a hug

Was anything communicated by the touch? my dad was not a hugging kind of person when he was alive but he was trying to comfort me

How much of the deceased did you see? the very first time he came through I noticed he was missing his two feet
Did the deceased appear or not appear to be the age at which they died? He looked about the same age to me but my mom was seeing a younger version of my dad. I think he wanted to look good to my mom.
How healthy did the deceased appear to be? He looked healthy. He died of cancer but he did not seem to be have any illness.

Could you sense the emotions or mood of the deceased? Yes
he seemed to be at peace
Did the deceased give you information you did not previously know? He took us on a mini tour of the other side. The other world/ heaven is kind of like here. Different frequency but there's still physicality. Food, housing, beach access, hot spring bath, library, stores, etc.
