Experience description:

The night she passed away I was in bed trying to fall asleep, I briefly opened my eyes and to my surprise I saw her standing at the foot of the bed, I rubbed my eyes thinking I was imaging what I saw, looked again, and she was still there for a second then suddenly vanished.

 Was this experience difficult to express in words? No

 Did you ONLY sense an awareness of presence of the deceased without actually seeing, hearing, feeling or smelling them?          No

 Did you hear the deceased or hear something associated with the deceased?       No

 Did you feel a touch or experience any physical contact from the deceased?       No

 Did you see the deceased?       Yes

 It was her whole form looking healthy almost lite from behind.

            How clearly did the deceased appear?            somewhat transparent

            How much of the deceased did you see?       all

            Did the deceased appear or not appear to be the age at which they died?   The age she died, but healthy.

            How healthy did the deceased appear to be?           She died of cancer, but appeared very healthy that night

            Is there any possibility what you saw was from any other source present in the surroundings at the time of your experience? no

 Did you smell a distinct smell, scent, fragrance or odor associated with the deceased? No

 How long did the experience last?      5 to 10 seconds.

 Was the beginning and end of the experience gradual or more sudden?      gradual

 Could you sense the emotions or mood of the deceased?          No

 Did the deceased give you information you did not previously know?          She just looked at peace.

 How do you currently view the reality of your experience?          Experience was definitely real

           Please explain why you view the reality of your experience as real or not real:   I was fully awake, not on any med's or drugs and saw what I saw

           Was the experience dream like in any way?  No

 Describe in detail your feelings/emotions during the experience:  Surprise, because my partner was asleep next to me and I thought this visitation was for him.

 Was there any emotional healing in any way following the experience? Uncertain

 I passed my experience to my partner.

 What was the best and worst part of your experience?     it was comforting

 Has your life changed specifically as a result of your experience? No     

Did you have any changes of attitudes or beliefs following the experience? No     

Did the experience give you any spiritual understandings such as life, death, afterlife, God, etc.?          Uncertain     Since that experience's I have had a number of after death communications.

 Death Compacts are when two or more living people promise among themselves that whoever dies first will try to contact the other(s).  Have you ever made such a compact?         No

What emotions did you feel during the experience?          surprise.

 She seemed light from behind....like 'A Glow'

When my partner passed I felt as if I was removed and watching a movie
