I have had many experiences with my father, after he passed away in 1999, but this experience was very different.

I was asleep in my bed, when I found myself in a controlled dream by my father. I was standing in a dark loft, in a townhome(I believe). I could sense that there was someone standing next to me, but I didn't know who it was. I suddenly heard my deceased dog barking and I proceeded to run down a dark staircase with excitement.(My dog Daisy had passed away in 2012.I had been very upset over her passing away from cancer.)As I reached the bottom of the stairs, I could see a room in front of me with the lights off, but then I seen a light to the left of me, so I followed the light, in which lead me to a kitchen. (As I entered this kitchen, from what I believe was my dad's home on the other side) I looked to the right of me, as I entered and there was my father standing beside a refrigerator.

He looked healthy and wearing same clothes, as I had seen him wearing on earth. He motioned with his left hand, pointing to the floor and said, 'See she's all right' as I looked, there was my dog Daisy, healthy, barking and playing with a white teddy bear with a purple bow on it, that I have never bought for her, while she was alive on earth. I have never seen it before. My dog was pulling at it and jumping on it. I was so happy to see her, and she ran to me when I called her name. I was kneeling on the floor, holding her. She felt and looked solid. I can feel her body and fur, but yet she was weightless. I can feel her lick my face, but not the wetness of her tongue. I kept telling her how much I miss her and love her, then at that moment I woke up. I tried to go back to sleep to be with her again, but I couldn't. I know my father seen how I was torn over her death and wanted me to know that she is on the other side with him. Alive and well.

          Is there any possibility what you heard was from any other source present in the surroundings at the time of your experience?   No

          Was there any possible impairment to your hearing at the time of the experience?   None

Did you feel a touch or experience any physical contact from the deceased?         Yes

I held my dog. My father was off to the side, watching.

            Was the touch familiar or unfamiliar? familiar

          Was anything communicated by the touch? No

            Is there any possibility what you felt was from any other source present in the surroundings at the time of your experience?   No

Did you see the deceased?       Yes

My father and pet looked the same as on earth when they were both alive on earth

            How clearly did the deceased appear?            Very clear

            How much of the deceased did you see?       Full body of father and dog

            Did the deceased appear or not appear to be the age at which they died?           My father looked 10 years younger and healthy. Dog look very healthy.

            How healthy did the deceased appear to be?            Both my father and my pet died of cancer. My father couldn't stand and was very weak. Last couple days before he passed, he couldn't talk. Pet was very weak and also couldn't walk,but could after passing.

            Is there any possibility what you saw was from any other source present in the surroundings at the time of your experience?   No

Did you smell a distinct smell, scent, fragrance or odor associated with the deceased? Yes

          What smell, scent, fragrance or odor did you smell?          My pet. Her fur smelled fresh

          Was the smell, scent, fragrance or odor familiar?          She smelled clean

          Was anything communicated by the smell?  No

          Is there any possibility that the smell, scent, fragrance or odor was from any other source present in the surroundings at the time of your experience?         No

How long did the experience last?      Couple minutes

Was the beginning and end of the experience gradual or more sudden?       As soon as I fell asleep I was in an unfamiliar townhome. I was able to hold my pet for a moment, then suddenly I woke up.

Could you sense the emotions or mood of the deceased?          Yes

My dad was calm, but wanted to let me know my pet that he never met on earth was alright.

My dog was happy to see me.

Did the deceased give you information you did not previously know?  Yes, that my dog was alright on the other side.

How do you currently view the reality of your experience?          Experience was definitely real

          Please explain why you view the reality of your experience as real or not real:   It was very real. My father never met my dog while she was alive on earth. My father passed away in 1999 and she was born in 2000

Describe in detail your feelings/emotions during the experience:  I was very happy, but sad cause both my father and pet were no longer alive on earth.

Was there any emotional healing in any way following the experience? Yes

Cause I know that there is another world or dimension beyond this life on earth.

What was the best and worst part of your experience?          The whole dream was pleasant.

Has your life changed specifically as a result of your experience? No                 

Did you have any changes of attitudes or beliefs following the experience?      Yes    I've always believed in the afterlife, but believe it 100% now.

Well, my father would joke that if he passed away he'd come back and haunt me. I was close to my dad and we would joke.

Not sure.I just felt the whole dream was controlled

I sensed a presence in the dark loft, but did not know who it was.

Just a kitchen light.

Yes    I told family members and friends. They found it fascinating. Friends and family members have had experiences also.

Well, the experience lasted a moment. I was sound asleep and I could see my soul leave my body. I floated up to my ceiling, but someone was holding me, so I wouldn't float further away.
